Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas

I had very high expectations and am completely amazed that they were far exceeded. Anantara Kihavah provided the most memorable and perfect Honeymoon/Vacation I could have ever asked for. We were treated like VIPs from start to finish. After we completed the customs process we were greeted by a representative from Kihavah and brought to the seaplane lounge. We waited for maybe an hour before we were able to board the seaplane and head to Kihavah. We were greeted by management and our villa host. Piyal our host was great. He gave us a tour of the island and provided us with any information for different activities, restaurants or anything we wanted to do or needed while we were there. He followed through with everything he said and was able to control. Anytime we had to be somewhere that we scheduled he would always check if we needed a ride to it and if we wanted a ride back. He made our stay so easy and relaxing. We had the chance to go to the spa many times during our stay and it was the best spa we have ever been. Nur at the front desk always welcomed us with a huge smile, cold towels and a drink. Tini and Yanti were our massage therapist for most of our treatments and they were amazing. I had a shoulder issue for over a year that Yanti was able to help in a couple of hours. Tini, Yanti and Nur are some of the sweetest and most genuine people we have ever met. They made us feel like family whenever we were there. Every morning at breakfast Dilmi,Tim,Zain and others would be there to take orders and see how everything has been going. If you want some pictures of this amazing place I highly recommend talking with Sifah the resident photographer. We did a photo shoot with him and we couldn’t be happier with the pictures he was able to get for us. The house reef has tons of life and circles the entire island so you can snorkel a different area wherever you want. Govind would always surprise us with a special cocktail at the right times. All the different restaurants were great but 2 really stand out. “Sea” the underwater restaurant is an experience. It’s like you are eating in a constant changing aquarium. The reef surrounding the restaurant provides so much to see from every angle. Mazlaan was there to help tell us about the different species of fish we saw and make that meal special. And “Fire” the freshest and best sushi we have ever had. All I can really say is Anantara Kihavah is an amazing and special place. The service was better than any other high end resort/hotel. We were treated amazingly from every staff the entire time.

We had the most magical stay at Anantara Kihavah. Piyal was our host. Piyal was absolutely amazing. He looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. He made our stay extra special. Also, Jimmy our room boy was fantastic and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. All the stay were incredible. It’s a wonderful place to stay. Again a big thank you to Piyal for making our stay the best ever.
