酒店古色古香，環境幽靜，交通也很方便，早餐品種很多，很豐盛！出去穿過一片小樹林就是海邊港口漫步道，非常舒服，早晚可以跑步，很多吃飯，喝咖啡的地方，距離市中心步行街2公里左右距離，很方便

Es war einmal…. Ein wunderschön gelegenes Hotel mit Ruhe, Weitblick, persönlichem Service und hochwertiger Gastronomie; Sterne gab es auf der Terrasse sitzend im Himmel und auf dem Teller. Mit dem Generationswechsel ist aus dem stolzen Kaufmann ein müder Vertreter geworden. Der mittelmäßige und unfreundliche Service, vor allem im Restaurant, gehört eher in eine Behördenkantine. „Bitte unterschreiben Sie leserlich, sonst hören wir hinterher wieder, das wäre nicht konsumiert worden“. Die Qualität des Essens ist einfallslos; ok wäre fair, mehr aber auch nicht. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, das Shampoo vorsichtshalber festgeschraubt wie im Motel One. Die Minibar gähnt leer vor sich hin. Gereinigt wird nur alle 2 Tage - angeblich der Umwelt zur Liebe…Das Schwimmbad riecht streng, da scheint es an der Lüftung und der Reinigung zu hapern. Insgesamt ist der Stern des Kaufmann gefühlt von 4 auf 3 Sterne gesunken; mehr Ibis als Romantik. Wie schade! Zumindest haben das Gebäude und die Lage das Potential, irgendwann von einem ambitionierten Betreiber wieder mit Liebe wachgeküsst zu werden.

Vi havde 4 dejlige forårsdage på hotel Kaufmann. Meget venligt personale - og meget personale. Hyggelig stemning i huset og skøn beliggenhed i stor park ned til Fjorden, som der var kig til fra bl.a. restauranten.

Wir haben drei sehr angenehme Tage im Hotel verbracht. Über den grandiosen Abend im Ahlmanns bei Lasse Knickrehm, Aufsteiger des Jahres 2024, schreibe ich gesondert, hier möchte ich auf eine vernichtende vorhergehende Kritik über unsere Juniorsuite eingehen. Unser sehr helles Zimmer mit großer umlaufender Fensterfront wird im Sommer wahrscheinlich einen eingeschränkten Fördeblick haben, dafür punktet es mit einem wunderbaren Rundumblick in den Park/Wald mit alten Baumriesen. Es liegt neben dem Lagerraum des Zimmerpersonals, da das Zimmer jedoch eine zweite Tür hat, ist davon nichts zu hören, schon gar nicht frühmorgens. Direkt daneben der Aufzug, von dem man schon gar nichts bemerkt. Auch sonst gab es überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln, sehr bequeme große Betten mit den von uns bevorzugten getrennten Matratzen, fleckenloser Teppich im Schlafbereich, bequemes Sofa und Sessel, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Dass das riesige Bad und WC mit Wanne, Dusche und großem Fenster nur über drei Stufen zu erreichen ist, wurde bei der Buchung nicht gesagt, wir hätten als sehr altes Ehepaar vielleicht ein anderes Zimmer gewählt. Aber wir kamen zurecht und haben uns (zum zweiten Mal) sehr wohlgefühlt.

Die Lage etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums ist perfekt. Ruhig und in 5 Minuten direkt an der Kiellinie. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und das Restaurant bietet am Abend wie auch zum Frühstück ein sehr gutes Angebot. Aber Achtung, die Hotelzimmer werden standardmässig nur alle zwei Tage gemacht. Die Information hierzu ist in einem Nebensatz in der Buchungsbestätigung versteckt und so kamen wir nachmittags von unserer Stadtbesichtigung zurück und waren etwas enttäuscht ein ungemachtes Bett vorzufinden. Der tägliche Service muss vom Gast explizit verlangt werden.
