Great stay at this hotel. Very clean and comfortable and the included breakfast was very good. Reception is not staffed after about 5.30 but when our flight was delayed we rang ahead and there was some to greet us and give us our keys. Good position on the marina and a taxi ride into town is about 14 euros. The ferry into Kiel and up to Laboe is nearby.

Stayed in the hotel for an extended weekend. Location is just on the shoreline with a view of the marina across the road. The fjord of Kiel is before your eyes. First impression of the hotel is style and attention to detail. The interior is themed in naval elegance with the best furniture and trimmings. The room is furnished with an excellent and wide bed and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and the attentive staff is ready to cater for your needs - we like our morning eggs in certain ways 😁. There simply is no finger to put on any aspect. Treet yourselves!

Zimmer, Lage und Personal Top. Das Frühstück war leider unter unseren Erwartungen und wesentlich schlechter als beim vorherigen Besuch. Der Käse war am Rand angetrocknet. Die Wurst war scheinbar auch schon älter. Omelett war bereits länger auf der Herdplatte und nicht frisch, wie die anderen Eierspeisen incl. Speck und Wurst. Für einige „Speisen „ soll lt. Karte ein Aufpreis gezahlt werden. Brötchen waren trocken und pappig. Leider kein Barbetrieb mehr vorhanden.

Der Kieler Yachtclub ist eine allererste Adresse für eine Übernachtung in Kiel. Es liegt wunderbar in einem ruhigen Teil der Kiellinie, ist elegant und schön. Mein Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, von ausreichender Größe, sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war prima. Das Personal, mit den ich zu tun hatte, war außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist derzeit noch geschlossen, wird aber demnächst unter Leitung von Steffen Henssler wieder eröffnet. Gut fand ich, dass man mir unaufgefordert Restauranttipps übergab. Das fand ich aufmerksam. Ich hätte sonst gefragt. Den Übernachtungspreis fand ich abgemessen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Personal war immer zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet und das Badezimmer war sehr groß zügig bemessen. Frühstück war ausreichend und o.k. Nettes und freundliche Mitarbeiter auch in der Bar. Aufschlag von 500% bei der Flasche Wein auf den EK etwas überteuert. Regionale Bierangebote wären auch zu empfehlen.
