This was my third visit to Poros and the Golden View Hotel. Comfortable stay in clean and friendly surroundings. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Check in and check out easy. Breakfast was good although the same each day. Coffee could improve. Bed was comfy and balcony lovely. Spent time reading on my balcony and made use of the free sunbeds and umbrellas on the hotel's private beach. A wonderful stay.

We stayed here for four days and found it delightful. It’s a traditional place, medium size and very comfortable. While we were there the mood was quite sedate and quiet, which suited us. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, but as someone already mentioned, no kettle. Hardly a hardship though. The food in the restaurant is as good if not better than most of the restaurants in the village. Breakfast is a bit of a let down though. Quite limited choice, lousy coffee . Plenty of it but could be better. It is right on the beach and there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The public ares are comfortable and all in all I would return in a heartbeat. For the views alone, in fact!

Just checked in so full review to follow but initial disappointment in that there is no kettle in the room and no fixed shower head - only hand held shower (Room 312)

Super clean and well organized hotel, rooms perfect clean, fresh towels and bed cloth everyday, super friendly team, very busy to support. Perfect own beach plus separate pool Restaurant offers decent local food in good quality.. but we used the chance to test all the restaurants around every day. Bar is open till midnight and serve everything you expect. During daytime also snacks and icecream Breakfast is also nice, clean and every day very fresh and tasty fruits All in all a perfect location to start tours all over the neighborhood Absolute perfect relation what you get for your money

This is a fantastic hotel with great facilities and really helpful staff. We stayed in room 301 which has a beautiful view over the beach and the bay. The room was really spacious with a comfortable bed, air con and what looked to be a brand new well equipped bathroom and a really good. Cleaner in every day with fresh towels. Breakfast was good with enough choice, a bigger selection of fresh fruit might have been nice, and the restaurant at night served good meals. Bar prices were really reasonable. Private beach is right in front of the hotel with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, similar with the pool area which was immaculately clean and comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. All in all a really good stay, would recommend to anyone.

Third stay here and it's still a good value option in this area.
Location coupled with a good pool means that it fits our needs perfectly. The staff are very nice and attentive.
We'll be back!
