Hotel River Valley

The room was very clean and food service was great. The view from the room was amazing. There are no elevators so be ready to get your steps in. They have a nice patio overlooking the river where you can relax. I wish they serve more traditional food.

This property is very new with amazing view. We recently accommodated a family group from India and they truly enjoyed the accommodation. The sun deck with river front view is a plus to host breakfast,lunch and dinner. Personally I have been there to see the standards but yet to spend nights to experience the services. Recommended property!

Lovely hotel on the river with great views of the valley and hills. Very peaceful and typical of Butan. Food was good. There is a nice internal courtyard to sit in and watch the river and stars above. Staff were helpful and smiling. Overall, very good.

This hotel gives you a feel of a homely yet perfect cozy place in the town. The rooms are simple with a beautiful view of the river and the town along the hillock. The beds are very soft and comfortable. The bathrooms are a little small but very practical. The terrace outside the restaurant is super amazing with the classic view and sounds of a flowing river. The food is decent and the staff is helpful. They even have a small bar where you can enjoy a peach wine with that relaxing sight!

The Hotel is located with a spectacular view of the Mo chu river from the rooms as also the terrace that has seating for diners. Some rooms, like ours # 717, had a view on 3 directions. While the staff are friendly they are not completely trained and some lack English language skills. The two drawbacks which can be easily corrected by the management are firstly, the laundry service does not iron the garments sufficiently and the clothes are poorly folded.It is also quite expensive. Secondly, and more seriously, the 4 meals ( 2 breakfast & 2 dinner) invariably the food ran out. The quality of the food and the selection of the menu could also be greatly improved. These drawbacks notwithstanding, we enjoyed our stay

Extremely romantic setting ! Moreover, being situated by this river we were surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flora. The tranquil atmosphere created by this natural environment provided us an escape from our bustling city life and allowed us to unwind completely. The lush greenery, towering mountains, and vibrant flowers created a picturesque setting that left us rejuvenated and connected with nature. Imagine your morning tea on the wide balcony while taking in the scenic river view, there are endless opportunities to sink in the beauty of surroundings. Need minimum 2 nights here !
