Spent one night in this so-called resort, there were holes in the wall, carpet hasn't been hoovered probably ever, found used soap in the shower etc. We didn't report any of it because this is Asia and standards are different here. But when the night came, cockroaches started crawling all over the room!! We spent the whole night awake and when we went to complain next day, the owner first claimed he didn't know what a cockroach was, then he admitted he keeps trying to get rid of them but "they keep coming back", then he told us it was okay because they didn't bite us (!!) and in the end suggested that we brought something into the room that attracted them. Eventually, he agreed to charge us half price and pretty much laughed to our faces when we said we wanted to cancel the rest of the stay. Disgusting behaviour. Also tried overchanging us for transport despite everyone else in Don Det offering a cheaper price for the same journey. Avoid at all cost.
