I recently stayed at Clarks Khajuraho, expecting premium hospitality from a 5-star resort. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor service, misinformation, and unprofessional conduct, particularly from staff member
Key Issues Faced:
GST Billing Ignored Repeatedly
Despite multiple requests, my GST number was not added to the final bill, even though it was provided well in advance. This reflects administrative negligence and causes financial inconvenience to business travellers.
Uncooperative Behaviour by Mr. Raja Mohan
He pressured us for early checkout, citing full bookings for the coming three days. However, MakeMyTrip showed over 10 vacant rooms, .
When asked about a drop to the railway station, he quoted Rs. 400 if arranged by hotel and Rs. 800 for an outside taxi, stating Rs. 400 goes to hotel accounts. But the next morning, he refused to arrange any taxi at all, leaving us stranded.
Ultimately, we had to arrange a taxi ourselves for just Rs. 200, proving we were misled.
For a hotel that claims to offer 5-star services, this lack of courtesy, transparency, and accountability is shocking. I sincerely hope the management reviews internal conduct, ensures proper billing compliance, and improves guest service standards.
