Clean facility. Quiet evening. Saw a large 8 point buck on the property. Manager was very accommodating. No elevator. Had to lug heavy suitcases up to the third floor.

This was a last minute choice as we visited the Black Hills/Rushmore area. It's generally difficult to get 3 single rooms at the last minute, but the desk clerk was extremely helpful. We had tried to use a site, but failed. She got us that rate. And to top it off, it's an extremely charming and cozy place. The furnishings are attractive, the bed is comfortable. Almost wish we were staying longer.

Hotel was very clean, staff was very nice and friendly. Perfect location on the boardwalk. Somewhat dated and basic but so much to see and do in the area, all you need is a shower and bed. If you’re a techie, the WiFi and tv are not the best but who goes to the Black Hills to watch tv.

Nice cute, clean, cozy, homey feeling room. The very nice front desk clerk was very kind when I made the reservation, she just so happened to be the same person checking us in, she was extremely friendly and full of things to do and places to eat around the area. Very accommodating to my requests. Thank you so much for the great stay. Highly recommend this place.

Love the convenience to everything; shops, resto, bikers view, Mt Rushmore and other fun activities. Room was clean and spacious. The cons..it is expensive, a very old hotel, everything inside is stil as old as it was built. It needs a overhauling inside out or demolish then rebuild. If you have big luggage it's hard to get to the second floor. It has great potential to a 5 star though.

I didn’t pay enough attention to the fact this hotel doesn’t have an elevator and got myself a 3rd floor room. Needless to say, it was a real pain to drag my stuff up (especially because I carry more than I should). In the end though, it provided me with a quiet night sleep as there were no upstairs neighbors (the ones that usually generate the most noise) and I got lucky with the side ones. The hotel location is prime, at the beginning of Keystone’s tourist *****, so you can easily walk to all the stores and restaurants. The room is more spacious than I thought and includes all the basic amenities: mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The TV is of a reasonable size and the only real problem here is Internet; it’s slow and spotty.

Location is very convenient with many options of restaurants and shop within walking distance. Mount Rushmore is about 15 minutes drive away, Room size is big, basic amenities but very clean. Free coffee and tea served in the front office

Great location for visiting Mr. Rushmore and walking around shopping or eating out.
Beware, no elevators in this 3 story building. If you cannot climb stairs make sure you call to request a first floor room.

No elevators & we were on the 3rd floor caused some inconvenience for my elderly mother. Room had an old musky smell also I think this place had mold because after sometime we noticed moisture in the air but we could be wrong. I would give this place a 3 out of 10.
