Lovely, quiet quaint property with a sparkling salt water pool and hot tub. We stayed in the Pineapple Suite, adjacent to the pool with a view of the Bay. Beautiful way to awaken each morning! The suite had all the amenities needed for dining in house, and included Keurig coffees in the morning. There is a grill and patio adjacent to this room. Bring your own charcoal. Evening sunsets are perfect from their dock. The staff are super sweet; willing and able to help in any way they can. We would be glad to stay here again.

Thank you to Tanya, Kathryn & all the hardworking people that make Kona Kai Resort a truly magical experience. I loved the laid back yet attentive vibe. Check in/check out was seamless. The art gallery had ceramics, beautiful botanicals & some thought provoking contemporary pieces. I also loved the gardens; a true cocoon in nature. I highly recommend for singles and romantic getaways. It is welcoming for all though adults only. Also, kayaks, paddleboard & more are included in reasonable daily fee.

The entire experience was amazing, great staff, beautiful grounds, lovely cottages. The beach area and pool area was so restful. Being on the keys was quiet and restful. Lots of toys from kayaks, stand up boards and pickleball courts. Good restaurants and bakeries close by. Can’t wait to return!

Kona Kai always leaves us feeling super relaxed! What's not great about reading a book while in a hammock underneath palm trees?! My wife and I love this place and we highly recommend this experience to renew, refresh, and restore. Kathryn and Laura are outstanding hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best possible. What amazing sunsets we got to see and the kayaking was great also. Can't wait to go back again!

Kona Kia is an outstanding place to stay . I have now stayed with them twice . The rooms are spotless and so pretty. You have everything you need at your fingertips. It is for sure a tropical paradise. . The grounds are also kept spotless. 7:00 am I’m in the hot tub. And I can see the men cleaning everything again . The staff are very friendly. I just stand there in awwww looking around at all the beauty I get to see for the next two days . I’m looking forward to my next stay at the resort. Thank you too the ladies in the office, the women who clean the rooms and the men that take care of the grounds . You are all outstanding and for sure over the top ! Thanks you again . Johnnie ❤️🌴

This place is a hidden gem, if you want the real Florida keys, this will not disappoint. So impeccably taken care of, beautiful views, perfect temperature pool and a hot tub. They even have court for pickle ball or tennis, also a small shuffle board. They have paddle boards and kayaks, sunscreen and complimentary water. In room coffee , and wonderful people who care. We rented one of the smaller rooms and it was perfect. We walked across the road for a beer and a bite to eat at a local spot. Not far from anything you want to do. Five stars!!!

We loved our brief stay at Kona Kai on our way down to Key West. We arrived after the office was closed and they had info as well as dining suggestions left for us. We couldn't appreciate the resort when we arrived because it was raining and dark, but the room was so cozy. The morning was beautiful and we enjoyed coffee on the small pier. The grounds were simply stunning with all the botanicals. I cannot wait to return!
