myself and my husband got married at Rushton in 2017 and since then we've returned many times for afternoon tea, meals and to stay over. my husband as a surprise had booked dinner for us in the brasserie for my birthday recently and it was wonderful! we had a warm welcome on arrival in the bar and enjoyed a pre dinner drink. Chatted to gentleman called Jessie and he looked after us a few times during the evening, lovely chap! we were then shown through to our table and there was a lovely rose in a vase and birthday card waiting for me from the hotel Julian looked after us during our meal. another lovely gentleman who we enjoyed chatting to, along with other members of the team our meal was 10/10. each course beautifully presented and tasted wonderful after our meal we went back into the Great Hall to relax with a drink before heading home. in the Great hall we spent some time chatting to a lovely lady called Wei So once again, another wonderful visit to Rushton, looked after by lovely staff and excellent food. We look forward to returning in 2025!

We booked the Library private dining room for a birthday dinner with friends. The room was lovely with an area for drinks by an open fire along with the dining table. The food was fantastic and the service we recived was great; Finn did a great job looking after us for the evening taking drinks oders and serving the meal.

This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure to be looked after by Eve. The first time was afternoon tea, she was a trainee and just as thoughtful and kind then. She’s still amazing really bright, capable and she knows how to look after her guests. She transferred the bill over from the brassiere to the Great Hall when someone else said it wasn’t possible. Her goodness shines through her and I love to be in her company she makes me feel warm and welcomed. A definite treasure to the team at Rushton Hall.

We stayed at Rushton Hall over a weekend in November for our wedding and it was everything I'd ever dreamt of. Not only are the grounds and building simply STUNNING, the standard of food and service was oustanding. Naomi and Jess, the resident wedding planning extraordinares, made our special day perfect. Not once did we feel stressed or upset during the experience and they made planning it all a breeze - I don't know what people are talking about when they say weddings are stressful! A special shoutout for helping us to accomadate a cultural ceremony in the evening. We can't wait to come back and stay for our anniversairy!

I have been to Ruston Hall numerous times for business, however I do find it very frustrating that when I travel to this venue they have no EV charging points? I end up driving a long way to this venue, I spend all day at Rushton Hall at considerable cost, and them have to find somewhere to charge up, making it an even longer day, other venues in the area provide EV charging and mostly this is free.

My husband and I have just returned home after a stay at The Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa in Kettering. What a totally wonderful luxurious experience from the moment we entered the hotel to when we left. Customer service at its best. Dave met us at the door and welcomed us, carrying our bags, taking us to the reception and showing us to our beautiful room. What a welcome. The staff on the reception desk was professional and courteous. Check-in was quickly and efficiently managed, thank you. We relaxed in the beautiful lounge with our books and a drink and the bar staff were lovely. Dave made up the roaring fire as the frost outside started to appear, checking we had everything we required.  What a magical experience. I want to mention the room again. Pure luxury, deep piled carpets, thick beautiful curtains, the beautiful bed which we sunk into, the heavenly bathroom, the products and the soft luxurious bathrobes, I could go on but you get the picture. The spa was great. We enjoyed all amenities and the treatments fabulous, shout out to Carly, Naiom and Tammy, who massaged us, oiled us, pampered toes and hands and totally relaxed us. Breakfast was delicious and every member of staff was lovely, shout out to Shirley and Julian and the team (apologies I did not remember all your names) Another shout out to the unseen team/army, who ensure rooms are pristine, towels are fluffy, and pillows pumped, thank you. The Hall is beautiful and full of history, the exterior is majestic, an architects dream, the beautiful wood panelling, the ceilings with the architrave, and the corridors. There are modern touches but all in keeping. The plush sofas you sink into, the romance of the alcoves overlooking the beautiful immaculat grounds, the stain glass windows where one can experience afternoon tea, looking out onto the lake where the swans reside and pheasants watch, the trees with leaves turning to gold as the fall to the ground.. Our last evening Dave was there, stocking the fire and making us comfortable. It was lovely to chat and be so comfortable and be looked after. The grounds are wonderful and we will be back to watch the season change and experience a different beauty. A shout out to all the gardenering team. On our final morning, Dave was by our side to ensure we were settled in our car with our luggage. It was a wonderful end. My husband and I were thinking of our special anniversary next year, what should we do,  we are now booking another stay at this five-star hotel and know we will be welcomed and looked after. Thank you to all.

Thank you to all the staff at Rushton Hall for looking after our family and friends so fantastically for our wedding weekend in September 2024. The staff were incredible throughout the weekend and couldn’t have done more for us. Particular shoutout to Jessica and Naomi who made the planning of our wedding seamless and stress free. They were hot on every detail and were happy to liaise with our suppliers throughout. Everyone says that planning your wedding day is one of the most stressful things you can do but with Jessica and Naomi, it was far from stressful for us.

A truly awful experience, however the aesthetics of the building itself and the grounds are truly stunning. That is where the sophistication ends, a concierge by the name of “Dave” is blunt and crude, on arrival he asked my wife to carry the largest suitcase to our room to which I had to interject, we were told by the Concierge that there were lifts available to guests such as ourselves but that climbing three sets of stairs “Was the quickest way” it transpired that the lifts were out of action. Room service ordered that evening due to the fact that we had flown in due to a bereavement in the family and simply fancied some good food in a chilled environment, firstly there is a £10 tray charge, absolutely ridiculous but even worse that the food on that tray consisted of a cold parsnip veloute, an over crispy beef and red onion ciabatta and the worst fruit salad with strawberries simply cut in half with stems still attached and green grapes that were brown on one side. Front of house were contacted and “Paul” stated that he apologised and that he would deal with it. The following day I contacted Reception to extend our 2no’ night stay but was told that they could not honour the rack rate and also they had only taken the price of the cold soup from the bill, thus allowed me the privelage of meeting Lauro the Deputy Manager who acknowledged that the poor standard of room service be deleted from our account and the rack rate would be honoured, I also mentioned to Lauro that the front of house had actually put the phone down on myself when I was complaining over the standard of room service food and also for the fact that on arrival that the Concierge actually asked my wife to carry the largest suitcase, I was assured that it would be dealt with, sadly it wasn’t, the Concierge then completely ignored my wife and I when passing through the common areas to such an extent that my wife began to feel anxious and stressed with his demeanour towards her, this then elevated the situation to speak with Alvaro the General Manager, a very pragmatic individual who took ownership and accountability for his 2no’ members of staff that in his words had acted out of character during our stay. I subsequently requested from both the General Manager and Deputy Managed their complaint to procedure and details of the owner but alas nearly three days later it’s all very quiet. One positive item to resurrect faith in a professional within the hospitality industry is a lady by the name of Shirley who provided table service for my wife and I at breakfast who was simply wonderful, compassionate, friendly and treated my wife and I with the utmost professionalism.

I keep going back to Rushton Hall because it’s so very beautiful, and I get to feel like I belong there for the time I’m staying. I find the staff, especially the concierge Dave, so very welcoming, it’s like going home to a place that’s so much grander than I would ever own.
