Great budget option
Last minute decision to stay over in Keswick after a long walk in the area. Craglands was a budget friendly option. Clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Attenttive, friendly host and superb value for money.

Very friendly owner, knowledgeable about local area. Very nice breakfast. Room ensuite, clean and comfotable. Good views over Keswick from room window. Easy parking.

Good B&B and excellent host.
Very helpful with early check in and help with parking. Eldon made us very welcome. The breakfast was excellent.

Had a lovely couple of days staying at craglands , Eldon our host was spot on with us, even helped carry one of our cases to our room which was on the top floor ( view was fantastic but the stairs are a killer lol ) cooked breakfast has to be ordered the night before with plenty to choose from ,cereal and toast available as well which you just help yourself to , room was lovely and warm and clean, parking is at the side of the property and bear in mind you're reversing off the main road , but thats just the location of the property, really convenient for keswick town centre , its about a 20 minute walk downhill, we got a taxi back as we had been for a few drinks and that was cheap ( less than 5 pounds) all in all a great stay

WE did not stay there despite having paid for the room, the property is very run down , there was a horrible smell in our room and a notice on the window saying it could not be opened because there was a wasps nest outside.
Do not believe the rating or the so called verified reviews for this property on *******!

Excellently located with a 10 mins walk to the town centre where there are great bars, restaurants, take away and shops including shops for mountain walking. Eldon was great on arrival and explained everything and was there to assist us with any questions. Breakfast was great and rooms were cleans and well laid out.
