Wir waren schon mehrfach im Weinhotel Landsknecht zu Gast. Auch im September diesen Jahres waren wir wieder restlos begeistert. Die Ausstattung unseres Zimmers, die freundliche Bedienung und die wohlschmeckenden Speisen und hauseigene Getränke waren wieder Spitze. Für kurze oder längere Aufenthalte können wir das Haus wärmstens empfehlen.

Room was basic but clean with a small refrigerator. Sitting right on the river the view from the room of the river and across to the castle was just beautiful. Dinner at the hotel was on the terrace with river views and amazing food and wine. Breakfast was also a nice assortment of choices again with the great views. Only down side for us was no English menus and limited English at check in.

We really enjoyed our time at the Weinhotel Landsknecht. Super friendly team... great food and of course delicious wine from their own vineyard. The rooms are also beautiful. We had one with a romantic view of the Rhine and Mauss Castle opposite. We would love to come back!

Clean spacious room. Nice and helpful staff. Outdoor terrace facing the Rhine for breakfast and dinner. Watch the boat traffic and feel the cool breeze. Best food we had in our 10 d visit to Germany! Right on the bike path down river from the Lorelei.

We have rarely eaten so well. It was perfectly seasoned, visually very attractively presented, good portion sizes and some very creative but harmonious combinations. You can also book half board, and we would recommend that because the food is really very good. Small menu, but then the dishes are of high quality. Of course, you can also eat there if you are not a hotel guest. Regional and seasonal cuisine of the highest quality is offered. You can combine it with a wine tasting, which is actually a must for wine lovers. What I would like to recommend to the owner is to remove the exposed wiring in the winter garden and the dirty corner on the open terrace. It spoils the actually positive overall impression and can be quickly fixed. The hotel is a good choice for a short break.
