Favourite hotel! Already booked again for September. Chic, comfortable, spacious. Extraordinary setting. The rooms are beautiful, beds comfortable, and the attention to detail is apparent throughout.

Set in a stunning location our stay here was lovely. Very modern, clean accommodation and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the walks around the site, the bistro restaurant with exceptional food and the outdoor swimming pool. The three little goats in the lower field were a delight. The only negative was no air conditioning in the rooms and no gym.

Hotel located off the N165, arriving at private gated entrance with intercom for access down a long welcoming drive through the estate to the hotel. Stayed in this hotel many years ago and it was a bit run down, but not now. Apparently a €30million renovation has restored this beautiful chateau to its original glory. Rooms in the main hotel are beautiful. If you can, book one of the rooms to the rear of the main building with stunning views down to the river. There is also now accommodation in the outbuildings which is also set in the lovely grounds. There is also a very good five star spa in the outbuildings, as well as an excellent Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel..crucial to book in advance. Breakfast was also excellent as were the staff throughout the hotel. Highly recommended for a special occasion stay.

Everything about this hotel was stunningly beautiful, beyond all expectations, including: the friendliness of the staff (special shout-out to Paul, who greeted us on arrival and gave us lots of useful information about the hotel and local area); the generous size of the room; the quality of the bedlinen ( we had the best nights’ sleep we’ve had for a long time) No; the fact there are two pools; the tennis court; the woodland walks; the view of the sea inlet; the amazing breakfasts; the luxurious sunbeds. I could go on!

The site is absolutely beautiful and the service near perfect. We had a terrace with a view of the water, and ordered room service which consists of a different dish every night is delivered in an old-fashioned basket. Outdoor heated pool, beautiful gardens, walks in the forest, and excellent chef.

My wife and I are frequent travellers from the UK to Brittany, in fact for many decades now! We can honestly say that this is a very expertly run, relaxed and luxurious hotel. The room was very comfortable and peaceful and kept beautifully clean by the staff.

The attention to detail inside the hotel was poor. It was always a struggle to find someone to serve in the bar and the self service breakfast ( just as well perhaps as there was only one member of staff around) was disappointing. I didn't expect our cup of coffee at breakfast would have to be self served from a machine in a 4 star hotel. Cleanliness inside the hotel was disappointing.
