We had a delightful stay - the house, room, dinner, breakfast, grounds and service were all amazing. One of the rare properties that has exceeded our expectations/didn't disappoint - it all was better in real life than its photos and reviews.

Oh my!!! So grand, so gorgeous, so comfortable! The staff were great. There were donkeys, a miniature horse and Irish wolfhounds - all adorable! The breakfast service ^chef’s kiss. An oasis in the Irish countryside

Just stunning!! 2 couples stayed here and LOVED Ballyseede Castle!! Everything was super clean, beautiful and staff were all top notch! We felt like a King and Queen when entering our huge, amazing room. Beds & pillows were comfy. Bathroom was amazing! Especially want to recognize Esther, Stella and Doreen who all provided excellent service along with witty senses of humor. Esther had a suggestions on places to visit. They made our stay fun! We enjoyed a delicious 5 course meal in the beautiful dining room. Breakfast (included) was delicious too. Highly recommend staying here!

What a magical experience!! The castle is so beautiful. Everyone that we had interaction with was top notch. True Irish hospitality at its finest. The ladies at reception where so helpful, with any questions. Our wait staff from breakfast, high tea, dinner and bars were quick, smiling,joking and truly cared about our enjoyment. Our favorites were Doreen and Joe. (Waitress & Waiter/Host) What lovely people. Always smiling and quick witted. The resident dogs add a true touch of home, Dolan ( Irish Wolfhound) was our favorite. We are already planning a return trip to Ireland and will be staying at Ballyseede Castle again!!!!

Doreen could not have made the afternoon tea experience at Ballyseede Castle more special. We received the royal treatment. The treats were delicious. The historic castle and grounds are stunning and should not be missed. My sister was so moved that she cried. I hope we can visit again. Thank you, Doreen, and thank you to Ballyseede Castle.

This is everything you could ever want in a castle stay. The rooms were gorgeous, the staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the decor was beautiful. The hotel has several dogs on premise who were cute and sweet - our kids loved getting to interact with them. The castle grounds were fun to explore, and the forest trails were magical.

This was just what we were looking for and was an amazing place to stay. The architecture was gorgeous and the grounds impeccable. And oh the sweet dogs!! You definitely feel you've been transported to a bygone era as others have said. The installations and decor were very luxurious and appropriate without feeling too stuffy. Unfortunately the staff makes up for the lack of stuffiness of the castle itself. They were not friendly and very uptight... Perhaps they are playing a role but the 5 course dinner which was pretty good would have been a lot better if the waiter had relaxed a bit and just all around a smile or two would have gone a long way. But in the end if you are looking for a castle to stay - this is the place! Absolutely gorgeous... Oh and great breakfasts!! (this seems to be the rule in Ireland though in general!)

Stunning, beautiful, atmospheric castle hotel..staff so amazing (Esther was brilliant!) and helpful..Great location for a wedding with its own purpose built venue on the grounds..very close to Tralee too, rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated.. Hotel spotlessly clean, even have their own resident Irish wolfhounds! Would highly, highly recommend!
