We had a great experience at whispering pines in kernville... The room was very spacious. Had plenty of accouterments.... And we would never hesitate to return to the property. Should our plans bring us to the Kernville, California area.

Beautiful Rustic Place to Stay!
Beautiful place to stay! Our room had a fireplace, and a separate shower and tub. We also had a patio that overlooked the water and mountains!

The staff went above and beyond to get our room ready as we arrived early. If you are looking to fish, hike, or commune with nature this is your place. I would recommend staying here any time of the year.

Love the seclusion and charm of this lodge. Pool looked immaculate, and the wooded surroundings are ideal for any getaway. Best feature is the patio deck off each room.... beautiful views!

Love this place
I’ve been trying to come here at least once a year ever since covid…we stayed here once when I was a child and now I have a baby and wanted him to experience this great place I enjoyed with my parents almost 30yrs ago!

Great, spacious room with a wonderful view. Large, comfortable bed with nice amenities (granola bars, separate pool towels, etc.), great swimming pool with (again, with a great view), and very helpful, kind staff. The proprietor even left a personal note in our room welcoming us. Who does that anymore?? Will definitely stay here again!

Quaint cabins along river. Kern river brewery just a couple minutes away. We enjoyed the stay.

Great location(patio looking down Kern River) and views and close to restaurants. People we encountered were very friendly.
One down side, water was down/shut off the most of second day due to plumbing work for water leak, caused us inconvenience.
