Best Western Kernersville

How would you like to pay top dollar for a hotel room that goofed on housekeeping and doesn't have a manager on duty to resolve customer service issues? This is unacceptable. This hotel is broken. Skip it. The business card for the hotel manager doesn't allow you to actually reach the manager.

I made my reservation using the Holiday Inn Website. Check-in was quick and I was in my room in short order. This hotel is located very close to Interstate 40, however I experienced no road noise in my room. I found my room to be very clean and well attended. The bed was comfortable and well made. The breakfast was well attended throughout the advertised time. The food was well stocked and I enjoyed the Pancake Machine. There was ample parking in a well lit onsite lot. The only hiccup was with the Wi-Fi. I attempted to connect several time without success. I ask the front desk attendant for assistance and they were not able to provide a solution or assistance. Overall this hotel met my basic Needs, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable,

The room was clean and the breakfast was great. We were next to the laundry room which wasn't ideal but that is the only drawback. We were visiting family in the area and would stay at this hotel again.

Rooms are freshly redecorated from pics seen online but my “king suite” seemed sparsely furnished. Bed, pull out couch, usual nightstands by the bed and a dresser with cabinet for refrigerator that had TV on top as well as a desk / office chair. There was no folding luggage rack - instead a coffee table sized table with plastic strips to put our suitcases on was next to sofa. No end table shown in old pics nor a coffee table in from of sofa - so if you brought in takeout food there was truly no place to sit and eat other than the desk. There was not a not a full length mirror in the room, only mirror was above the counter top in the bath. My 3 rating is due to the unfinished feeling my room had. Did they forget to install the mirrored closet doors I saw in the open doors as I walked up the hallway ? I needed ti get my room key cards reprogrammed almost every time I left the room - frustrating. The hotels location and my lack of sleep also plays a huge part of my rating. Bed was comfortable but half of the hotel faces an exit ramp on I-40. Even with the fan running constantly it did not drown out the noise of trucks engine braking as they came to the stop light at the top of the ramp. I’d recommend you book a room on the side of the hotel away from the highway!! In room Keurig coffee maker was great King suite had nice size jetted tub Best part of our stay was hotel staff, especially Carolyn who made breakfast each day of our stay. She was thoughtful and took time to get to know us as we were there for 4 days. Always pleasant and just made it great to see a friendly face each morning ! I’d stay again as it’s very close to family but I’ll make sure I’m not on the highway side of the building !!

Stayed at this hotel several months ago when moving my 93 year old mother into assisted living center. The stay was very average as the property has no real amenities and was dark and dingy. Scheduled to go back for a visit today with my two sons (two rooms for two nights). After learning my mother had covid three days ago and was under quarantine, I tried to cancel the reservation only to learn the "free cancel period" ended on November 5. So they were intending to charge me first night for both rooms. The booking site I used called them to request a waiver and were told no. Said they intended to charge me one night for both rooms. So today, scheduled check in day, I pull up my bank statement and see that they actually charged for both rooms, both nights; DOUBLE the cancelation fee. Apparently no one is there who has the authority to issue the refund, so I have to call again tomorrow. What a complete disaster this place is. The Hampton Inn is much nicer and I recommend that property if you have to stay in Kernersville.

Breakfast was great and had just what my XC runners needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fair price. It was perfect for me and my runners. We will use again for our cross country teams. Thanks

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Kernersville. The staff was wonderful and Carolyn made us a great breakfast. The hotel is incredibly clean and we will definitely plan to stay there again if we are in the area.

It was not an option and there was no warning Not sure what else to say. Kicked out of room without warning. During the middle of day. Staying for another night after this fiasco. No one at front desk to talk to.

When I called to make a reservation, I specifically asked for a king in a certain area for my room, and I confirmed the rate I was to be charged. When I got there, the area they had put me in was totally different, they tried to move me to the area I wanted, but it was 2 double beds. When I got the bill it was much higher than what I was quoted. These are all hassles that I prefer not to have after driving for several hours that day and just wanted a relaxing evening. The toilet rocked every time we sat in it. There was clear damage to the bathroom wall that needed to be fixed. The room smelled bad - musty odor. Everything was not what I would expect for a Holiday Inn.
