Michelangelo Resort

Well where do we start? When we arrived we were told food was waiting for us but it was a warm roll with warm ham and cheese so we didnt eat it. The hotel itself wasn't great. The hotel room had no door lock so anyone can walk in which the maintenance guy did twice with out knocking or any notice. The tv didnt work. The food on another level. Its disgusting. Not even the staff eat it. The drinks made us ill so we didnt eat or drink there anymore after day 1. We ate out in the local area. The area we would stay at again just not this hotel ever again. The area is lovely and the locals are friendly. There's so much more but this is the overall view of what we had to deal with.

The room that we got was lovely nice view with turtle garden right outside our room ,room A 248.was a great experience the rooms were cleaned every day and changed bedsheets.The service was nice and everyone was kind,receptionists helped a lot and everything was great. The entertainment were fab,the late night bingo,the mini kids disco and pool games.The greek dancers were great and dancing to music was amazing with all the people.The atmosphere was energetic and very outgoing.

When we arrived we was greated by a very rude staff member then waited over 5 hours to be shown our room which we paid over 200£ extra and was basically shown a dirty prison cell and told it was there luxury room. Then had to argue for 2 hours to get our room changed which was barley better than the room we where in.. but we had been waiting 7 hours to get into our room which was a1 0 minute walk from the bar and the restaurant which was not worth eating at or drinking at such a disappointment

This is a very run down hotel lot of investment needed. We stayed AI and you really do get what you pay for. Breakfast was ok. My husband came to dinner once and he never went back. We ate out every night because about a 15 min walk away was beautiful Kassiopi. Rooms were old everything was run down and depressing except the two entertainment ladies. They made our stay bearable. Staff just didn’t engage which was fine end of season I get it. Had to call the maid in at 1 point to clean our balcony when she left it was still filthy. I won’t be returning to this hotel it’s very poor but would definitely go back to kassiopi it’s beautiful.

This is a two star at very best,very creative with the pictures on the website room was very dated no shower curtain and lack of care one glass for a double occupancy room door on cupboard with fridge in not closing poor attention to detail old wooden patio doors on to terrace that made a racket when opening/closing room cleaned randomly. All inclusive buffet left a lot to be desired very limited dishes and I mean very ! Very repetitive same dishes every day and others every other also lukewarm warm at the very best we started eating out and seeing a lot of the guests doing the same! No diet drinks available at all and only a double toaster in the restaurant on a morning resulting in Queuing. Staff were generally nice and pleasant pool bar man rude and miserable spent more time on his phone than serving people. Oh don’t let me forget as this is not mentioned at all but a road runs straight through this resort! Generally this could be a nice place give the rooms some love and attention and simple basics required for modern hotels sort the god awful food out I wouldn’t have fed some of it to a pig! A toaster that’s capable of doing more than two slices at a time ! Sugar free drinks surely have to be cheaper than the full fat versions on offer also! No kids club and entertainment virtually non existent with them hanging around the pool bumming cigs of holiday makers. Really struggling to come up with something positive about this place as the more I think about it the more negatives I remember ,travelled as a family of five and everybody agreed this place has put them off returning to Corfu.

some of the people who have given negative reviews of this place seriously need a reality check!!! Excellent and very hard working staff who were always very pleasant, but must have had the patience of a saint to deal with some of the rude guests! Seriously, some woman was whining because they didn’t do black pudding at breakfast time . Room was clean and serviced EVERY day! Food was plentiful and as good as most AI. Never had a problem getting a sun bed as there are 4 pools. Only negative thing for me was listening to ignorant and rude whining guests, who made themselves look foolish moaning about the drink, whilst attempting to get as much down their necks as humanly possible. For the price excellent value for money and brilliant staff!
