Amour Holiday Resort

The Amour Holiday Resort hotel is situated in a great place. Right next to the beach and the bus stop from which you can get to Corfu (ticket 3.7 euros), nearby is the famous Love Channel. Clean rooms, cleaned every day, towels changed without a problem. 3 swimming pools, one specially for children. OkAt the bar - beers, drinks, ice cream, sandwiches. The food is very good: greek and international dishes. Guests who has a room next to the pool and wants to relax, they have to expect loud music that can be heard from the pool. Great service, they solved the reported problem immediately. On Tuesdays there are Greek nights - a barbecue, dancing, great stuff. We recommend this hotel.

Just returned from a week at Amour and I must admit I was a bit worried based on the reviews but there really isn't much to fault about this hotel! The staff and location are what make this such a great place, less than 5 minute walk to start of the ***** which is full of bars and restaurants and the staff can not do enough for you! One member even carried my 30kg suitcase up 2 flights of stairs to our room! - THANK YOU :D The food was mainly what we was worried about but the days and nights we ate at the hotel we never struggled to find something we liked! And it had the best baklava I have ever tried! And the rest of the desserts were so good with fresh cream! The only negative I would say was the drinks, soft & alcohol we found difficult to drink so ended up buying our own outside of the hotel, but even with this it would still not stop us staying at this hotel again! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and regularly cleaned and fresh towels. I will finish off by saying thank you to all the staff at Amour for making our last minute holiday a good one :)!

The staff at the hotel are just amazing especially the manager - nothing is too much trouble for him ,he’s a pleasure to deal with. The hotel is very clean the staff are constantly sweeping and cleaning and painting. The rooms are just basic but ok . The food is very basic - breakfast is ok but lunch & dinner are very hit & miss also food only lukewarm - needs to be much hotter - we ate out a few times - lovely little tavernas & restaurants close by . We also got very badly bitten . Not just mosquito bites but spider bites as well. There is a stagnant canal at the rear of the hotel & we wondered if this was the problem. We went prepared with repellents etc but nothing worked even bought more plug ins & repellents from the supermarket - to the day we left we were still getting bitten. Overall we enjoyed the holiday

Initially, we booked a hotel in St Spyridon, but due to a late opening, we were changed to Amour. We were sceptical about the hotel’s standard, as some negative reviews mentioned issues with almost everything. Upon arrival at 12 am, we were taken to our room, which had a selection of food, a bottle of red wine, and rose petals on the bed. The food is never cold and is always topped up, so even if you arrive 5 minutes before it closes, there’s always the full selection to choose from. The buffet is always different for lunch and dinner every day, although I wish there were more gyros. There’s also plain pasta that you can add your own sauce to, making it suitable for picky eaters and there’s always ice cream behind the bed. The lager is nice, as are the selection of cocktails Our flight home was scheduled for 18:30, so we had to leave our bags at reception. They were happy to do this the night before. We had an 11am check-out, so we headed down to reception where we were greeted by the manager. He asked us when our transfer was and immediately offered us a free late check-out. This meant we could leave our bags in our rooms and get changed ready to go home. We were also allowed to use the facility. This manager was great, he was doing everything in his power to improve the hotel’s standards. I overheard him talking to one of his chefs about Trip Advisor reviews, clearly taking them on board and wanting to make improvements. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the main Sidari *****. Singers on every night in multiple bars.

Well first the food was always cold, reported nothing done, the worst thing is there is only 1 toilet which is in reception and a shared one this is not acceptable at all even worse children have to use that one toilet to, changes need to be made about this, maids chatting away outside our room in mornings, can't expect everyone to go back to rooms either. Will not be back here, the good point is all the waiters and barman couldn't fault them at all.

Myself and my family had an amazing time while we were here. The staff were very friendly and always offering to help with anything we needed. When we arrived we were the first guests of the season. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine and a fruit plate on arrival. The food was amazing everyday! The all inclusive cocktails went down a treat everyday too. We had a little issue with out room on the first day where we had issues with being able to open it. Within 20 mins there was someone out to fix it for us. Our room was perfect. The bed was comfy for us. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels and toiletries were also left daily. The pool was perfect to get into when it was getting hot! You also got the sun the whole day at the pool We couldn't fault the staff one bit. Always helpful and chatted whenever they would see you. We will definitely be back!
