The Lake House

We stayed there for one night and it was an unforgettable experience for us. The lake view was incredible, especially sunset times. We watched the sunset from the deck while we were drinking our wine. In the morning the deck was very quiet and it was perfect to meditate there. 💆🏽‍♀️ Breakfast and dinner were also very good. The staff was very helpful for everything and I liked their hospitality. Thank you Lake House 💙

From the moment I arrived, I knew it would be a special trip. I was hosting a Yoga Retreat there, from the food, to the staff, every detail was taken care of. We were treated as part of the Lake House family. The owner, Yavuz Bey, was onsite to make sure that everything was taken care of so my students could focus on their yoga practice and get the rest and relaxation they all needed. Cant recommend enough.

I spent two nights here with my partner and absolutely loved it. The grounds are gorgeous with a perfectly manicured lawn, pink oleanders, olive trees, and agapanthus along stone paths. Laying in bed in the late morning watching the sun hit the olive trees and filtering through the leaves was exactly what we were looking for in a weekend outside of the city. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Each night a 5-course dinner was served in a quiet setting in an unobtrusive manner that made me feel like only my partner and I were there. The food was a mix of classic Turkish and European dishes with a creative twist while still maintaining important classic elements of the dishes. The bread was the best that I have had in Turkey. Likewise, I was really impressed by the croissants at breakfast. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained. The time I spent reading under the trees was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time. We also spent an entire afternoon sitting on the private dock. The lake is stunning with the most beautiful shades of green and blue, and mountains in the distance. Staff were polite, respectful, and discreet. The whole experience was so tastefully crafted. I loved how much privacy we were afforded, and how flexible staff were. We have a couple of recommendations, however. There are a couple of buildings that seem to be used for offices, but looked like nice living room spaces. It would be nice if those were opened up to be living room spaces where guests could relax or read. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to use a hot tub while visiting. I saw a photo of one on Tripadvisor, but there was not one available for us during our stay. Regardless, these are just suggestions and we will definitely be back. Our stay was fantastic.
