Perfect escape to one of the most beautiful regions of the country . Apeiros Hora is an ideal place for relaxing and quiet holidays. Our hole stay was perfect. Confort,cleanliness, very polite and nice staff, very warm and helpful ownership . Κριτική για: ΑΠΕΙΡΟΣ ΧΩΡΑ Αναρωτήθηκα γιατί η ονομασία του ξενοδοχείου να είναι "Απειρος Χώρα"Και η απάντηση των ιδιοκτητών ήταν ότι ανάγεται στην παλαιότερη ονομασία της περιφέρειας της Ηπείρου. Ποιός λοιπόν θα μπορούσε να αντιληφθεί ότι ,ένα Ηπειρωτικό Αρχοντικό όπως το αποκατέστησαν και το διαμόρφωσαν με δουλειά πολλών ετών και μεράκι ο Γιώργος Κοντούρης και η Αθηνά Ασλανίδου,έχει πάνω του μια βαριά κληρονομιά άνω των 200 ετών ενσωματωμένη τέλεια στην σημερινή του εικόνα και λειτουργία σεβόμενη απόλυτα την παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια του σχεδίου και της διακόσμησης του σπιτιού των προγόνων τους.Η σύνθεση όλων των ανωτέρω είναι η εικόνα ενός heritage hotel που βρίσκεται στα Κάτω Πεδινά ενα απο τα 46 χωριά που αποτελούν την περιοχή του Ζαγορίου διαπιστευμένης ώς περιοχής απόλυτης αρχιτεκτονικής και φυσικής ομορφιάς. Μια παρέμβαση που έκαναν οι ιδιοκτήτες στην λειτουργία του σπιτιού είναι η επέκταση της παλαιάς κουζίνας που δημιούργησε έναν αίθριο χώρο ώστε όλοι οι ένοικοι να απολαύσουν το πρωινό τους σε ένα οικογενειακό περιβάλλον με μεγάλα τραπέζια τα οποία και βασίζονται στα αρχικά σχέδια του Αρχοντικού. Το πρωινό είναι ένα απο τα αναρίθμητα ποιοτικά στοιχεία που συνθέτουν την φιλοξενία των ιδιοκτητών στους οποίους προστίθεται και ο Ξενοφών Κοντούρης.Ενος πρωινού απόλυτα χειροποίητου στο οποίο καθημερινά προστίθενται και διαφορετικές επιλογές στο μενού του.Την φαντασία αυτή την δημιουργεί η Λάουρα που αποτελεί και μέρος του προσωπικού αυτού του εμβληματικού ξενοδοχείου στο οποίο και προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες της για πολλά χρόνια. This was my 2nd visit to Apeiros Chora and like the first one it was as amazing as the 1st one. The guest house is an old family home combining traditional architecture and materials with modern amenities. It has been restored by the owners with an aesthetic sensitivity and elegance that respects and honors tradition while providing modern-day amenities. The guest service is impeccable, unobtrusive, intimate and flexible. The owners, Athina and Giorgos, have created a setting that is inviting, relaxed and focused on meeting the guests' preferences and desires. The guest house is located in a beautiful mountainous part of Greece that provides plenty of summer and winter outdoor activities (hiking in the famous Vikos gorge and many other locations, river trekking, kayaking, canyoning, rock climbing, swimming...). The house is so inviting that is also ideal for just staying put to relax, read, and enjoy the vistas. While Greece is famous for its islands, once you experience a stay at Apeiros Chora you'll be drawn to come back for more as I plan to myself again in the future.

Apeiros Chora, a lovingly and painstakingly restored centuries-old mansion, is not just an excellent base from which to explore this stunningly beautiful part of Greece - it is so much more. It is a labor of love. Pride of ownership is evident in every aspect. It’s been said the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, but those parts are certainly not to be frowned upon: amenities you would expect from a 5-star accommodation and then some, a scrumptious breakfast with something different every day, a lovely and caring team, and most importantly one half of its driving force, Giorgos (hope to meet you next time Athina!). Affable, gregarious, and an excellent conversationalist on a plethora of subjects, especially of his beloved Zagori, he welcomes you into his home with open arms (btw, all your tips on the area were spot on! Ευχαριστώ!!). This is a place where «μεράκι» abounds, memories are made and friendships forged. Their home became ours for a few days. Thank you

The hotel is definitely a 5* from all points of view. Clean, very spacious rooms, refurbished with style and full of antique items and furniture selected with lots of taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. It is located in a very nice area surrounded by green, very peaceful and definitely what we needed in order to rest, and we did:) But the most important factor in making this a very memorable holiday is, George, the owner. One of the most interesting persons we ever met and we became very good friends. Thanks to his vast knowledge of the region and many more things, all the areas he suggested for us to visit were most interesting. Let alone the restaurants where we had excellent food and service. Wherever we mentioned his name we received excellent treatment as he is very highly respected. And we will definitely return soon. Needless to say that we recommend Apiros Hora to people who want more than just a hotel. We wish Apiros Hora, Georges and his wife Athina every success

We arrived on sempetmber 3rd (sunday) . Less than 24 houres latter the rains and fluds started...instead of two nights we stayed until suterday morning when rescue helicopter took us out of there. During all this time we were taken care by yannis the hotel manager and Zoe. Great people. No power, no water, Yannis stayed calm and helpfull. Tryed his best to make everybody in good mood. We have no words to discribe this person. We wish him a fast return to bussiness. A great thanks to him and Zoe.

My husband and I have just returned from a trip to Greece including three marvelous days in the beautiful Zagori region. I had read so many wonderful reviews about Apeiros Chora and yet it still managed to exceed all our expectations, both in terms of comfort and amenities and the warmth and friendliness we experienced as guests. Thank you George and Athina for welcoming us into your truly beautiful home and ensuring that we would have a most memorable experience of the Zagori with all the help and information you provided us with. Thanks also to Lily and the other staff for the amazing breakfasts and little extras. We felt really spoiled and hope some day to have another opportunity to enjoy both the stunning beauty of the Zagori and the luxurious comforts of Apeiros Chora.
