The Pantlind Hotel is a Beaux-Art architectural style, which was a popular architectural style in France from the 1830s to the end of the 19th century. The hotel had the largest gilded ceiling in the world at that time, and a huge crystal chandelier and other luxurious decorations. In 1979, the Amway Group purchased the Pantlind Hotel, renovated it, and reopened on September 15, 1981. The Ford couple Ye, who lived in Grand Rapids, attended the opening ceremony. This was a very decent place, smaller rooms but very clean. My only complaint would be the fact that there are zero identifiers that let a person know it is also a place that houses recently released incarcerated individuals. Now while I have no bias against anyone who deserves it getting a second chance. It would be good to let people know before they book that this is going on so they can make an informed decision. That being said, very helpful and communicative staff. Great little waffle maker for breakfasts. Overall a pleasant stay.

The service was great here, the staff was definitely very nice. Bummed that the hot tub wasn't available. The hot tub has been covered, so there isn't any. :( The food was pretty good, I appreciated the options. The furniture in the room needs updating. The table in the sitting area was really wobbly. Also the desk and table in the sitting area have stains all over them. I thought the room wasn't clean when we got there, but it was just stains over the years.
