Visited for 3 nights. Warm welcome and shown straight to our room. Lovely spacious room with superkingsize bed, overlooking the back of the hotel. Clean, well equipped and comfy. Breakfast each morning was superb. Dinner at night was great as well. Kelso is a lovely town and well worth a visit. Queenshead hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Will defo visit again

Visit the pub for the first & last time. Waited 10 minutes in a queue. Asked for a beer. The Barnan, going to serve it in a plastic container. I replied "could I get it served with a glass. Which there were many Glasses available. He replied "No" Needs to work on customer services skills. It's the first & last time I will be in the establishment. The experience made me frustrated &

On our first day in Scotland and we just needed a drink and a snack. Very friendly welcome, great selection of gins to choose from. Snack menu was brilliant with a great choice, filled the gap but did not break the bank! The raspberry gin was delicious

New Year’s Day 5.30 PM what a FANTASTIC night with the lovely Kim Broon !! Lovely atmosphere great songs and great staff !!! Thank you all for a wonderful start to the New Year . Always made very welcome if you ever visit Kelso then the Queen s is a must ! It’s our local and we love it . Cheers to Mark and the Staff Steve and Karen Dunn

Great hotel and staff, very friendly all round, lovely bar with really good atmosphere, room was lovely, clean and comfortable, breakfast was also very good indeed, would definitely stay again, great central location, very nice place all round

A wonderful small hotel in the centre of Kelso and next to the Abbey. I visited with my elderly parents, and we were so well looked after, nothing was too much trouble. Such a great location next to the Abbey and close to all the shops. Rooms were great and with large and comfortable beds - perfect after a day's visit to the area. Great breakfast too! Do also take time to eat at the hotel, you won't be disappointed.

We were a party of 16 golfers staying at the Queens Head for two nights on a bed,breakfast and evening meal deal.All 16 of us found this hotel exellent in all departments.Starting with the quick check in,all done in minutes.Rooms were clean and comfortable.Our breakfast and evening meals were top quality.The evening meals were tasty and of a high quality.But one of the great assets of this hotel are the staff,really friendly and nothing to much trouble if you asked for anything. We will definately return in the future.

Very quaint hotel and extremely friendly people and staff were attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Breakfast porridge with maple syrup I highly recommend. All amenities you could want and more. Definitely would stay again when next up in the borders 😊

We stayed here this weekend as we were attending a wedding. We have been over the moon with our stay. Food here is amazing, the room is comfortable and has everything you would need. We missed out on the wedding venue rooms but ended up really pleased with what we booked at the queens head hotel as many of the guests wished they had booked here too! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and we are fussy hotel guests! Staff cannot do enough for you, rooms freshened up daily, breakfast there is many options - ate here for breakfast and dinner, the portions are fab. Varied menu with lots of choice, service is quick. Honestly book this place, you won’t be disappointed !!!
