The room was recently renovated, and very well featured. The bedroom was nicely partitioned from the rest of the space, and had an excellent bed. The wifi internet connection was quick and consistent despite having multiple devices connected. The location is a little far from the waterfront, but central to the rest of the city and airport.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights on our tour of western BC. I will start with the good points of this property. The location can't be beat; right on the lake and a short walk to the beach, many restaurants, shopping, etc. The grounds and common areas are really nice and well kept. Our room was very spacious and we had a nice view of the lake. Check in was quick and staff seemed very helpful. There is a little store on site with a Starbucks which was very handy. pricing was ridiculous in my opinion: $ 5 for a donut and $ 12 for a small fruit cup? As others have mentioned, parking is $ 30 / night which is a little steep for a small town (we paid less in downtown Vancouver) and the resort fee is a joke. You have to pay it whether you use the amenities or not, so for us, our $ 80 (four days at $ 20 / day) got us two free cans of beer and $ 20 off a very mediocre meal in the restaurant.
