The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The only drawback was that the elevator was broken during check-in time and the location was a bit out of the way.

This hotel needs to be raved about Whether you are attending a stay pre airport or a business event or special occasion Ours was to celebrate a family members 40th birthday Nothing was too much trouble pre us going for the weekend On arrival on a very hot Saturday afternoon we were greeted with cold ice lollies Every member of staff in all departments were absolutely amazing and so friendly Rooms are great we had a private room for our celebration which was great Meals and drinks were so good and reasonable Highly recommend a real gem of an hotel They made our stay very special thank you

Our usual hotel for the StatMap annual conference was something really special this year. Beautiful, recently refurbished hotel was stunning. Food excellent as always. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms have all had a make-over and now all benefit from air-conditioning. Already booked for next year?

Nice room and easy shower to get into as I’m getting on a bit now. Staff very welcoming remembering me from previous visits. Would recommend to friends. Breakfast has a great choice and well laid out. Nice to have air conditioning in the room as it was a hot weekend.

As a frequent visitor it’s lovely to be greeted with “welcome back” All the staff are so friendly, and the bedrooms never disappoint. Breakfast was great and the slight changes make it a more enjoyable experience. Never an issue getting my favourite poached eggs. Will definitely come back again.

The airport hotel costs £19 each way to The airport terminal On arrival the lift was not working but was given a 3rd floor room and told the engineer was coming later . After the engineers visit the lift could only make the 2nd floor so as we were overnight stopping with parking it’s a long to carry your suit cases (I’m in my 60s) The room clean but had faults we ran out of toilet roll (no spare ) The tv remote would not select a channel ! Reception didn’t offer a spare The bar had run out of Peroni and service was from waiters when they were not serving Breakfast was almost inedible staff not really visible a guest did ask if they’d micro there meal the black pudding was too far gone under the heat lamp On leaving the room remembering the lifts are not working and I’ve two suitcases I take one to leave with my partner in foyer go back to the other one and the room card had been cancelled ! At exactly check out time so another journey down the stairs and back I do feel they could of offered another room if the lift didn’t work The taxi driver said it had been an asylum seekers hotel and they’d had a £1.2 million government funded refurbishment. The sign to stairs on 2nd floor just took you to a lift This was not relaxing and when including the taxi it is cheaper to stay on the airport
