B&B Guesthouse - Bed and Breakfast Keflavik Centre

English: I booked this room to spend the night near the airport and catch my flight home. Upon our arrival, the reception staff were very attentive: without us saying anything, they asked us if we wanted to use the shuttle service to the airport the next day, which we promptly accepted (I assume it is included in the price). The room assigned to us was clean and tidy, but some details left something to be desired: for example, the towels had threads pulled, and there was a lot of dust accumulated in the electrical outlets, a sign of not always thorough cleaning. The bathroom, despite not having a window, was comfortable, with a spacious and comfortable shower. During the night, however, there was an unpleasant episode: the fire alarm went off, probably because someone tried to smoke in the room. The noise lasted about 15 minutes, until the owner intervened to deactivate it, confirming it was a false alarm. The following morning, the shuttle service took us to the airport without a hitch. Overall, a decent and practical accommodation for an overnight stay, but with a few areas that could be improved.

Waren 2x im B&B Guesthouse in Island, am Anfang und am Ende unserer Reise. Die Zimmer waren großzügig, sauber, mit Fernseher, inkl. kleines Waschbecken und das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist mit Selbstbedienung und völlig ausreichend. Eine Spülmaschine, sowie Herd und Kücheschrank ist vorhanden. Manchmal bietet das Hostel auch Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank an. Das ganze Gasthaus ist nett gestaltet. Vorteilhaft ist der kostenlose shuttle vom Flughafen oder zum Flughafen. Ansonsten gibt es auch eine Bushaltestellen in der Nähe (2-3 Gehminuten) oder nimmt ein Taxi (Kosten zwischen 20 - 25 Euro). Einen Aufzug gibt es nicht.
