Perfect for your stay before leaving for the airport. Short distance to the airport, plenty of parking lots, gas station and grocery store nearby. The hotel isn’t the coziest, but it gets the job done. The price is fair. I would book there again.

The room is a standard twin room, which is considered large in Iceland. The bathroom is clean. If you need a hair dryer, you have to go to the front desk to get it. The per capita English in Iceland is very good, so there is no need to worry about English. Icelandic locals are very friendly, and so are outsiders. If you need to know how to take the bus, you can ask at the front desk. They will enthusiastically check the route for you and write it down for you. Taking a taxi is very expensive. We took a taxi from Blue Lagoon to the hotel and it cost more than 10,000 kroner. A taxi from the museum in the city to blue lagoon cost more than 20,000 kronor. It's very expensive, but I don't want to take the bus because the journey takes too long.
