I booked a hotel that is close to Kawazu to see the cherry blossoms. The hotel is a typical Japanese hotel. There are strict time periods for checkin and checkout. There is a curfew from 23:00 to 6:00 in the evening. Dinner is at 18:00 and breakfast is at 8:00, but it will not be served to the room like the most traditional Japanese style. You will still eat on the first floor, which is more respectful of privacy and freedom. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Kawazu Station, and there is a pick-up service, but I didn't make a reservation because I wanted to enjoy the flowers on the way. As for the service, the receptionist was really patient and gentle. Because only a few people can speak English, the female general used a translator to translate it into English for me. In the end, I helped her change it into Japanese and Chinese 👐. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are generally clean. The open-air bath faces the sea. It is really invincible if the weather is good, but it is not hot spring water, just an ordinary bath. I didn't use the public one so I don't know the situation. But! The hotel has a really great view, with the sea in front and cherry blossoms in the back. You can watch the sunrise in the morning. The elevator has the estimated sunrise time for each day of this month. Unfortunately, it rained on the day I stayed there, so I didn't see the sunrise and sunset. In particular, the dinner and breakfast were invincible. It rained and was windy in Hejin on the first day I arrived, so I had no choice but to stay in the hotel to watch the sea. I was really disappointed, but because the meal package was great, I enjoyed it as if I were just going on vacation. There was also a free beer in the lobby every afternoon, free ice cream after dinner, and a massage chair. It felt like feeding pigs every day. The most fortunate thing was that I stayed for one night, and the sky cleared up the next day. The cherry blossoms in Hejin were so beautiful, and it was worth the trip. In general, the price-performance ratio is slightly worse, but if the weather is good, it should be better than my experience.

This was my second visit. I had originally booked a hotel with a sea view by mistake and was thinking of cancelling, but then I received a call and thought that their polite service must be reliable so I decided to stay. It was a wonderful inn just as I expected, with the large public bath and the three private baths being clean and all lovely. The food was also elaborate and wonderful. It compares favourably to Michelin-starred cuisine. What was particularly wonderful was that when I wrote about a slight issue that bothered me last year, they had improved it this year. I'm not sure if they only made the changes to us so I won't go into details, but this inn really had great attention to detail.

It only takes more than ten minutes to walk from JR, and it is only 610yen for us to take a taxi directly with our big luggage. Ishida House was rebuilt from an ancient mansion, and traces of history can be seen, but the surrounding area is spotlessly cleaned and very comfortable. The room has a private garden, private outdoor and indoor baths, and enjoying the cherry blossoms in the outdoor baths is very comfortable. We choose the one-park two-food plan, and the live fish sashimi for dinner is very fresh. This time I visited for the Ketsu Cherry Blossom Festival, the hotel is by the river, very convenient. It is very convenient to take a 25-minute drive from the bus station to the Seven Waterfalls of Hejin. The hotel has bicycles to borrow, and you can ride a bicycle to enjoy the scenery along the river. I will stay again next time I come to Hejin!

You can also get to know tourists from various countries. The location is far from the station, but it is close to the sea and you can feel the tranquility in the mountains very well. Maybe it was a bad season and the area was very quiet. This B&B should be very busy in autumn and winter.

Take the elderly to see the Kawaji Sakura, which is just in full bloom in mid-February. Very happy. There is a bus to the hotel at the bus stop near Hejin Station. At the information desk, we showed the hotel address, and the uncle staff instructed to get off at the ”Ciyanyuanqian” stop, which is the opposite! It is also convenient (note that the bus schedule is very sparse, the journey takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is 400 yen per person). On the return trip, the hotel has a free car to take us away. The environment of the hotel is elegant and clean, and the dinner and breakfast are all right. There is night cherry during the check-in period, and the hotel has a free car arrangement after dinner (not to imagine China and the United States, it is a pity not to see it). The hotel has to take the stairs and the bathroom is outside the room, so the elderly should pay attention! Overall satisfactory.
