I was on a business trip to Japan and stayed 16 night at the Hotel and I had an excellent experience during the entire stay at the Metropolitan Kawasaki Hotel. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the service provided by the front desk staff and the room was very clean and comfy. I can highly recommend this Hotel to any business traveler to Japan.
🇰🇷I'm writing this review in hopes that it will be of some help to Koreans🇰🇷
Location: Gangpae
You can get there in 1 minute from the JR Kawasaki Station ticket gate. If you just memorize the exit direction, you can get there quickly!!
Nearby: There are large shopping malls, McDonald's, 7-Eleven, ramen restaurants, etc.
Here, you can get everything in 1 minute. There's a ramen restaurant right next door, but the line is always long so I couldn't eat. I wonder how it tastes.
Check-in is self-service, but the front desk staff's face appears on the machine. I think they're at the front office, but I don't know why they do it on the machine. You also have to input your overseas address on the machine, but it's a bit inconvenient to have to press each letter one by one.
The room I was first assigned had a bad smell similar to a bathroom smell, so I endured it for about 2 minutes, but I felt bad so I requested a room change and changed, but it was still bad. I got used to it after a day, so it wasn't bothersome, but when I first checked in, I felt bad. ㅠㅠㅋㅋ
Both people can open their suitcases on both sides under the bed!
There's a small table, two chairs, and the TV works well! It was great except for the strange smell I smelled at first. The check-out time was 11am, which was the best! And the price was reasonable, so it was even better.
Fantastic location for public transport and fairly large room by Japanese standards but very dated interior. Great if you just want somewhere to sleep but don't expect luxury.

The room is very new, with two elevators. It is not far from Kawasaki Station and is conveniently located on the main roads. There are many shops and shopping streets along the way. It is very good for the last day of the trip. You can also go shopping in the shopping streets. It is a pity that only one room card is given and the room is too small to open two suitcases at the same time. However, the design of raising the space under the bed so that a suitcase can be placed horizontally is very good. It is also very convenient for GBC pilgrimage.
I used it the night before using Haneda Airport, and on a rainy day I walked to Keikyu a little with an umbrella. It was clean and there was enough breakfast snacks. Speaking of greed, I wanted amenities to rub my body and a smoking place.
Convenient to go to and from the Haneda airport.easy to catch the train to downtown tokyo. Kawasaki itself has a lot to explore as well. The breakfast from the coffee shop nearby was a litrle bit confusing since we were given 2 coupon each for 1 night stay so we were confused that we can use both coupons, but it end up that we were allow to use only 1, somof our friend was asked to pay extra charged due to this misunderstood. The amenities was less than other hotel from this brand.
The transportation is very convenient. It is a few hundred meters away from Kawasaki JR Station and Keikyu Kawasaki Station. It is close to the commercial district in the south, so it is also convenient for shopping and eating. The price is a little expensive, but it is in Tokyo after all. The service of Toyoko is still very good, and it is also very convenient to store luggage
It is a business hotel and the staff were friendly.
If you don't ask me to clean, you're given a drink service.
Close to the station and convenient to move to several places.
Even though it is a three stars hotel but I felt that it has way exceeded my expectations. I was afraid that the public facilities such as the onsen and eating area will not be maintained well but they were really clean. Nothing to complain about the room, it looks new and tidy. Other than the perks of having late night snacks, there are also reading corners, massage chairs and laundry (+dryer) machines. It is worth to at least try the breakfast for one day, the spread was extensive! Location wise, it is really convenient. It's just a few mins walk to the main streets and there is a direct train station to Haneda Airport.
I just returned from a business trip and stayed at this hotel, which is conveniently located directly above Keikyu Kawasaki Station. The location is fantastic, with shopping malls, restaurants, and fast food options just around the corner. The hotel itself is very clean, and the overall convenience and accessibility make it an excellent choice for both business and leisure.
