They put me on a floor with a broken icemaker that never got fixed over the holiday weekend. It's the middle of the Summer, and they didn't even leave a couple of bottles of water in the room to help start me off. Odd. Minus those two things, the hotel is very nice and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Nice views and great staff.

The location of the hotel is good, which is equivalent to the center of Kansas City. It is very convenient to walk to supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a very unique local barbecue restaurant nearby, which can also be reached on foot. The room is relatively large. However, the variety of breakfast is very small. Overall, the stay is satisfactory.

Thank you to Shaleya from the valet for making our stay 100% better. From the time I checked in Shaleya was there with a smile. Marriott is such a beautiful hotel and it feels great to receive great hospitality.

Stayed two nights and the start was rocky. Robin stepped in on the second day with car service help as well as tons of great sightseeing options. Would definitely stay here again.

The concierge Robin was very friendly,, with a great sense of humor, and gave us fantastic recommendations to dine in the downtown area.
