Kalypso Studio Resorts

First time in Kavos, went through Jet2 holidays, my only negative is that the transport drops you at the end of the road as unaccessible by coach,but its not actually too far. Rooms are basic but clean well kept and perfect for a base,air conditioning is available free wifi, maids come every 2 days I can't fault this hotel Elizabeth and her team were extremely welcoming and helpful, the pool bar pricing was same as most of the bars in the area the food was delicious and reasonably priced too we felt so comfortable there, and felt a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. We could not hear anything from the strip,the hotel was very peaceful. Location is around 5-6 minute walk to the main bars shops restaurants, we found a few which became our regulars, Big Max for food exceptional, Scorers Irish bar Evelyn and her team welcomed us with open arms,the Fountain , Face bar to name a few Cash is King in Corfu there are lots of ATM machines costing between 3€-6€ per transaction Day trips can be booked from Kalypso (and there are places on the ***** you can book )we went to corfu town which was around 1 hour by bus great day out The beach is very close by sunbeds cost 5€-9€ depending where you go All on all we have had a great time (Female 53 Male 59)

I stayed here with my friends and had an amazing time, the perfect place for a holiday with friends. The other families staying there on holiday were so nice and it was always a fun and happy vibe. The apartments are only a 2 minute walk from the ***** which had so many places to eat and drink which Elizabeth and Maria both recommended to us. The beach was also amazing and only a 5 minute walk away. We went on a boat trip that Elizabeth recommended where we saw beautiful views, stopped off in the town of Paxos and swam in the sea. Maria the bartender was so much fun, we had great chats with her and she made the most amazing drinks (sex on the beach and mojitos were my favourite) We miss Maria already. We had so much fun there and will definitely be going back!

Just come back after 4 days staying at the Kalypso Studios and I was disappointed..I was a solo traveller and had a self catering apartment loads of pans with 1 portable hot plat 3 plates no bowls...fridge & kettle that is not what i call self catering...3 beds..door looked like it had been kicked in a few tines number A9....balcony overlooking a garden which was run down down... bits of broken furniture about the place. In the middle of an olive grove..but it wasn't idyllic ...pool was nice staff where good..Apartment was clean..But the whole place needs a full makeover 5 min walk to the beach & shops highly recommend Bless The Sinner bar & restaurant 😀

An ideal place in the middle of an olive grove for anyone who would like to relax around nature but in a city where parties are held at night. ️ Rooms with a beautiful terrace where you can relax, the beds are very comfortable so after a full day the body rests peacefully. We felt very cared for, all the staff is very friendly, we talked practically every day, they will easily explain everything if anyone has questions, they are ready to help if there is such a need. There are also trips that can be bought at the reception ️ We can rate our rest in this resort as very high because of the place in which the resort is located and for the very nice and friendly staff for which we sincerely thank them because we are very satisfied and recommend it to everyone who appreciates nature, nice rest. Clean rooms, no noise from the city. Perfect price. The road to the main street takes literally 3 minutes, which is a big plus of the location. Swimming pool, bar, delicious food, nature, tranquillity - you will find it all in this resort. Thank you together for a wonderful stay and we sincerely recommend.

We went for a girls holiday the staff where so nice and the pool and bar was really good drinks and food where reasonably priced. We did have some issues though we had two rooms and in one room we couldn’t use the shower as the bathroom was full of ants so we showered in the other room which did flood slightly when we used the shower. Along with this the bins in the bathroom where not changed which meant the room did not smell the best as it needed changed every day coz you can’t flush toilet paper. There were stains on all the bed sheets and one fridge did not work. Overall it was fine for just sleeping in which is what we used it for. It is right on the ***** as well which was good meant we didn’t have to walk far and there was nice places to eat as well. We felt safe the whole time in Kavos.

Pros: -Good location, nice staff, pretty pool & bar, decent patio outside of room Cons: -Must pay extra per day to use the A/C in your room -Beds are hard as a rock & only single beds, and you get a single, paper-thin white sheet to sleep with -Room was uninviting and not aesthetic as the pictures suggested; the walls were bare with a white curtain covering the sliding door, nothing on the walls -Spiders in most nooks & crannies of the room & bathroom -Rattling A/C -Can hear pipes/toilet dripping & gurgling all day & night -Tiny corner to shower in with a moldy curtain -Water shut off mid-shower with no communication that maintenance was going on -After said maintenance, a pipe burst or there was a leak or something under the “kitchen” sink, and water began puddling under the sink by the front door Awful experience. Cried when I saw the room for the first time. The puddle in our room was the final straw, and we cut our stay in Kavos by half and booked a new place in Corfu instead. Would not recommend even to my worst enemy.

I just got back from here.and tbh when we first got there at 3am we were tired and miserable.we got to our room and again tbh it was proper Greece self catering basic.The next morning we got up and looked at the accommodation properly and the small things like CLEAN and with me with water pressure for SHOWER were prefect.( the room was perfect) then it got better we went to check in the next morning and met the most friendliest of people he was lovely he was the owner of the property along with his again lovely family.We felt so good and they were so brilliant with us in every way Then it got better the pool area and bar area was fantastic for what we wanted and all staff were brilliant.to sum up basic room with all you need for Kavos bar and pool perfect thank you for a great holiday

Fantastic staff very friendly ,rooms are very comfortable and everything you need for self catering .pool is amazing always a sunbed free and very comfortable great subtract it’s about about 5 minutes from the ***** but can’t hear anything so peaceful and quiet would highly recommend 10/10

This place has some bad reviews but not from me , very clean and tidy overall , room was just perfect , clean , kettle and fridge what else do you want . Close to the ***** but far enough away , staff very friendly , all in all very good base .
