We stayed at Fardini Seaside Resort in Corfu for a week, and honestly, we regret not leaving after the first night. The place is an absolute disgrace. The staff were incredibly rude and arrogant – it felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there. Any time we raised a concern, we were met with eye-rolls or complete indifference. No hospitality whatsoever. The room was disgusting. The floors were dirty, the bathroom smelled like drains, and the bedding was not changed for 4 days. To make things worse, we had bed bugs, which made the entire stay a nightmare. We couldn’t sleep properly and left covered in bites. The pool looked nice in photos, but in reality, it was full of bugs and clearly not cleaned regularly. There were insects floating everywhere, and we didn’t dare get in after the first attempt. We seriously considered asking for our money back and booking another hotel, the resort next door which thankfully you could use had an immaculate pool and friendly staff (sandy beach annexe), we spent 99% of our time next door. Lesson learned, will never book Fardini seaside resort again. Don’t waste your money – this place is a complete letdown. Spend a little more and go somewhere where you’re treated like a guest, not a burden.
