"Beautiful, unique, well-managed hotel with a complete set of amenities including delicious breakfast, scenic pool, and comfortable spa. There is a golf cart shuttle that brings you around the resort, and we were picked up always within 2-3 minutes of calling the front desk - even at 3:30am for our hot air balloon ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONTACTING THE HOTEL DIRECTLY FOR HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES AS THE FAMILY THAT OWNS THE HOTEL OWNS ROYAL BALLOONS, which is the premier balloon company. I really wanted to book with Royal but they were booked out online for several weeks. When I arrived to the hotel, they had spaces available for their guests."

"This hotel is in a very high place. The scenery is good. excellent service. But the cave is not comfortable. The photo looks good and the living experience is very poor 1 Not ventilated. Such a large suite has only a small window and it is not convenient to open for safety reasons. 2. Facilities are not good. The radiator cannot provide the temperature needed. It is cold to fall asleep."

"A real cave hotel in Urgyup. On the entrance to the city, so you will have to go up a little if you walk to the city. But there is your small parking, which is a big plus. Rooms convenient, good shower and bed, the Internet works normally. Breakfasts are wonderful, Turkish home breakfast. The hosts are super cheerful and friendly, the dog Mila is just in the heart of ❤️. We had a great time, so warm and comfortable"

"Eren is the best kind of host, warm, caring and always ready to assist you. We had a wonderful 4-day stay at the hotel and waking up every morning looking forward to their legendary breakfast. The hotel is located at the better side of the town in our opinion, away from the most crowded area and convenient to many nice restaurants nearby. We highly recommend it."

"Urgup is more of a local spot and it’s like 10 minutes car ride from Goreme the city center or more touristy spot.
We love the hotel for the room is spacious, amenities were great, service was extra-ordinary, the breakfast was superb and eventhough we arrived at the property few hours early, they check us in without any charge. Thank you for that!
If you are staying here you will enjoy peace and serenity. Which we love!
But if you like city like ambience, Urgup is not the place, stay in Goreme.
Which hotel you stay is not important for hot air balloon because most of the hot air balloon package will include hotel transfer to hot air balloon site and back to the hotel.

"Golden Cave Suites Hotel is located in Urgüp, which is 15 minutes away by car from Goreme (Air Balloon site and Open Air Museum). Majority of the hotel rooms are cave rooms which are designed elegantly. I stayed in a deluxe room equipped with a jacuzzi. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. Though limited proficiency of English, they tried their best to understand clients’ needs. The hotel has a good location to see the beautiful sunset and 15 minutes by walk to Urgüp downtown. "
