Zoek je een gastvrij hotel/restaurant met een vriendelijke eigenaar, ga dan vooral hier niet heen! Wat een vreselijke vent. We kwamen met 2 aan op de motor, erg warm weer. Wilden even een drankje doen maar deze man wilde ons dat niet serveren. Er zaten 4 mensen buiten, met een drankje, maar hij wees ons gewoon de deur. Hij was in afwachting van zijn hotelgasten, die waren belangrijker, maar waren er niet! Deze man is de horeca niet waard, slecht!

Totaal onvriendelijk personeel. Na een lange wandeling wilden we even zitten en 1 drankje doen met twee mensen, maar daar was geen ruimte voor. Er was niemand verder, maar we werden door een hele onvriendelijke vrouw zo snel mogelijk de deur gewezen. Als je eigenaar bent van zo'n plek, dan moet je toch iets van hospitaliteit in je hebben... 👎

While Kautenbach is a little away from the Luxembourg City, the hotel is located very close to the train station. My single room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. My every basic need was well covered at an affordable price point.

Awful people who run this place. Despite patiently waiting for any kind of response after they pointedly ignored my friend with black skin, I eventually got shouted at by the female at the bar. We left only to have the husband who’d ignored us all, run out to shout at us in Dutch for parking in a place he didn’t like. Please don’t spend your money here… these people should choose a career which suits them. In my opinion and based on how they behaved, they are RUDE, ******, IGNORANT People

We didn't actually go to the hotel. I called today to ask about their serving times for food on Sundays. I was told "No lunch!" So I asked about evening meals instead, "No!" I asked about food on Saturdays instead and was told, "No food! We're a hotel!" As I tried to find out more, the person on the other end put the phone down on me. Poor attitude and clear that non-residents are not welcome. We won't be making an effort to visit anytime soon.

Ligt op een mooie motorroute en staat aangeduid als foodstop. Zijn dus gestopt om iets te drinken en mss een tussendoortje te eten. Drinken hebben we gedaan , eten niet. Bediening en ontvangst is vreselijk, zou er dus nooit eten, laat staan overnachten. Spijtig want anders wel toplocatie.

Aangenaam verrast door de gastvrijheid en flexibiliteit. Aangename kamers in authentieke stijl in een leuke omgeving. Geen gedoe, geen grote luxe maar alles wat nodig is voor een goede nachtrust. Alles kraaknet. Leuke bar met breed assortiment Belgische bieren. Joost aan het fornuis, lekker eten na een volle dag motorrijden. Ontbijt helemaal vers en lekker. Een geslaagd verblijf en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Niet vragen of je er kan eten. Dan wordt je half weg gejaagd. Nog nooit zo bot ontvangen. Het is zonde van de mooie locatie. Ik zou zeker aanraden om 5 min te besteden om een betere locatie te zoeken.
