Advantages:1. The personnel all were very friendly from the lobby till the cleaning lady trying to solve all your problems 2. Minimalistic architecture give the space to breath very beautiful decorations Disadvantages: 1. Please don’t go to the restaurants of this hotel overpriced and the food sucks for two person 200 euros for a food that cost less than 20. 2. Rooms we’re comfortable but overpriced for the things that offered.

The crystal-clear blue waters stretched endlessly before me, surrounded by a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Every detail of the design exudes elegance and thoughtful care. Beyond the beautiful environment, the hotel offers excellent facilities, particularly the wide variety of sports activities, which left me thoroughly impressed. Indoors, there is a spacious swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a relaxing sauna. Outdoors, you’ll find professional basketball courts, football fields, and tennis courts. Moreover, the hotel organizes daily classes, catering to guests of all ages. I would especially like to thank the sports coach Kostas for his enthusiasm and expertise; his guidance not only kept me motivated but also helped me improve my skills. Without a doubt, the next time I come to Crete for a holiday, I will choose this hotel again!

Wow, tolles Wetter … ein sehr milder Winter an diesem wunderschönen Ort! Und das Wichtigste: super nette Leute mit viel positiver Energie (Kostas - Niki). Ich habe das Sportprogramm sehr genossen, und meine Frau ebenso. Sie haben sogar Vorschläge für die unsportlichsten Gäste, um sie in Bewegung zu bringen. Definitiv 1 von den 5 Sternen des Hotels! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder hierher, wir lieben es … also bis bald!

Stayed at the Amirandes for two weeks and found the hotel was really lovely. They have the most dedicated and professional people working there. The hotel is very clean and facilities very good too. Having the beach was also such a bonus. The music entertainment at night was particularly good and of a high standard, with some exceptional singing and the brilliant live Greek music ( cello and mandolin version) were the best ever! We chose half board as a back up incase we decided to stay in and this worked out really well particularly on the nights when there was mainly fish. Whilst the buffet hot food was not so exciting, there were a couple of very good fish nights and on the whole the salad options were excellent. We would say the only draw back was not having a pool area for adults only for some quiet time but appreciate this is essentially a family friendly hotel. Otherwise, the service was second to none and our stay was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. We arrived off season and from the first moment the staff has been exceptional! We were accommodated beyond our expectations. Since we came off season there was not much to take from the sea and beach, so when Kostas the trainer met us and introduced us to the possible activities (with very pleasant encouragement!), we took it as a great opportunity and joined. Every day we did morning yoga with Niki who has been great in tailoring the practice to our beginner level but also offering us new challenges to explore (body and mind!). To then having paddle sessions with Kostas as well as tips for overall exercising and keeping an active lifestyle during our stay :) Additional thank you to the parking, security, reception, breakfast and cleaning personnel for the highest attention to details and delivering, hands down, the most seamless experience for us as guests without a worry in mind. What a team!

We stayed at the Amirantes Hotel in Crete at the end of the season, and it was a fantastic choice! The hotel is beautiful, with a relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Costas was amazing, inviting us to join sports activities and making our stay so much fun – playing padel with him was a highlight! The morning yoga with Niki was also perfect; she adapted to our level and made every session enjoyable. Our room was lovely, especially being close to the sea where we could listen to the waves. The breakfast was great, and the entire team was incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!

Très bel hôtel, très propre avec de très belles prestations. Le buffet est excellent, frais et varié pour le petit-déjeuner, déjeuner, dîner. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très serviable et aimable. Petit regret que la piscine de la chambre ne soit pas chauffée (chauffage en extra à 90eur/jour) et qu'il n'y ai pas de navette à l'hôtel pour aller visiter le centre ville (prendre le taxi à 150eur l'aller/retour) De nombreuses activités sportives disponibles dont du tennis et du paddle (à payer en extra). 5 étoiles à Emilio et son coach qui gèrent la partie tennis/paddle pour la qualité de leur service et leur gentillesse.

Dieses Hotel, welches zu der bekannten Grecotel-Gruppe gehört, vereint alle Wünsche die man für einen unvergeßlichen Urlaub braucht. Zum einen ist es das Personal, welches vom Direktor bis zu allen Angestellten jedem Gast ein Höchstmaß an Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft bietet, welches nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Zum anderen sind es die Zimmer und Suiten, welche mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet sind. Zu erwähnen ist noch die Lage, die einem durch die Nähe zur Haupstadt und des Flughafens (ca. 20 km), sowie auch zum demnächst neuen Airport, die Möglich- keit gibt, sich nicht nur am schönen Strand aufzuhalten, sonder auch die vielen Sehenswürdikeiten zu erkunden. Wir haben über die Jahre weltweit viele Hotels kennengelernt und können somit einen objektiven Eindruck vom Amirandes geben. Hier haben wir sehr oft einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Kurzum, ein perfektes Urlaubsdomizil, wo man hervorragend aufgehoben ist.

Overall, the property itself was OK. Rooms are outdated. Service is good but food is mediocre. But one thing I would definitely stay away from is booking any trips through the hotel. There is price gouging. The hotel charged me almost $800 to go for 4 hours to the ancient ruins and a museum. The cost of the trip was outrageous and the hotel refused to accommodate my concerns. Their description of the tour and the cost did not justify or reflect the services that were provided.
