Kassandra Palace Hotel & Spa

We recently stayed at Kassandra Palace Hotel and had a really lovely experience overall. When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready yet, but the staff welcomed us warmly and offered drinks at the lobby bar while we waited. Check-in itself was quick, smooth, and handled with a genuinely friendly attitude, which set a positive tone for the rest of our stay. The room we got was exactly what we had booked, and we appreciated being taken there by golf cart—a nice touch, especially with a baby and luggage. The bellboy was incredibly polite and professional. The room had a handy little kitchenette, which made things much easier for us as we were traveling with our baby. While the furniture and beds felt a bit dated, everything was clean and functional, and the insect screens on the windows were a really thoughtful detail. Food at the hotel was honestly great. From day one, both the operations manager and guest relations manager greeted us at the restaurant and made sure we were well taken care of. The buffet breakfast and dinner options were always fresh, high quality, and regularly refilled before anything ran out. Service was fast, and everything—from cutlery to glasses—was spotless. A big shoutout to Despina Kaliva, the Front Office Manager, who was amazing throughout our stay. She really went out of her way to check in on us and make sure everything was perfect. The beach area was another highlight. It was always easy to find sunbeds and umbrellas, and the beach staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The whole area was calm, clean, and relaxing. A special thank-you as well to the Food & Beverage Manager and the entire team for making our stay so comfortable. We would absolutely come back again and would recommend Kassandra Palace to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-run hotel in the area.

This hotel was a huge disappointment and absolutely does not deserve its 5-star rating and not even close. The pictures online are completely misleading. In reality, the rooms are old, poorly maintained, and extremely dirty. Furniture is chipped, stained, and looks like it hasn’t been updated in decades. The whole place feels cheap and neglected. There’s no proper air conditioning. When we asked for a blanket, they brought a knitted throw — no cover. The staff is unhelpful and seems annoyed by any request. There’s no effort to improve your stay or fix issues. The food was bland and tasteless, and the selection was shockingly small for a so-called 5-star hotel. Honestly, I don’t know how this hotel got its rating. It feels like a scam. Overpriced, uncomfortable, and stressful. Avoid at all costs. You deserve better for your money.

This resort is truly lovely. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the Operations Manager, Despina, who was immediately helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We opted for the half board option, and both breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful and delicious. The sea is just a few steps away. The spa is well-maintained, and all common areas are spotless. A heartfelt thank you to Despina and Sofia for their kindness and outstanding hospitality. I recommend this resort. (Greetings room 911)
