We are currently on a 10 day holiday at the Verano Afytos hotel in Afitos, booked through Jet2, and it is hands down one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Greece. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been fantastic. Their friendly and attentive service truly stands out, every single member of staff we've met has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There are sufficient sunbeds for guests and the hotel provides a free towel service for use around the pool. Free water is also regularly provided by the staff to keep you hydrated whilst working hard on the tan! The hotel is ideal for couples wanting a relaxed and chilled break. Our bedroom suite has a balcony which overlooks the pool and is cleaned daily by fantastic ladies who also replace the towels daily. The rooms also have a free to use safe and aircon. The breakfasts here are another highlight. They are incredibly generous with a wide selection of good quality options. The hotel is around a 10 minute easy walk into the village where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to browse. If you fancy the beach it's around a 20-30 minute walk downhill to Liosi beach. If you want a relaxing holiday in Greece with genuinely friendly staff the Verano Afytos is the place to visit.

Excellent small modern quiet relaxing hotel. Spent two lovely weeks here and everything was perfect. Family and staff are great and are always engaging with a smile. Rooms are modern and well equipped with powerful shower and very good beds. Cleaners are daily cleaning rooms and replenishing towels and keeping the room immaculate. Breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold choices ( good ‘fried eggs ‘ ) Excellent location close to quaint Afytos village ( 10 mins walk). Would I recommend this hotel - YES Would we return - YES Thank you Chris ( dancing man) and Nicola 🇬🇧

An excellent and friendly hotel. Staff cannot do enough for you, from bringing chilled water to your sun bed every couple of hours to supplying a duvet for your bed as you mentioned you were slightly chilly the night before. Breakfast was first class with both European and English, fried eggs cooked to perfection. Oh and 4inch thick mattresses on the sun loungers. Will certainly be returning.

No regret!
We stayed there for two nights and it was fantastic. It is close to the centre and just a short walk to beaches but the seaside is rocky so you need to be careful while walking in the sea. The pool at the hotel is so clean and the sunbeds are so comfortable. They give you a service at the pool and they do their best to make you have the best comfort. The breakfast has a variety and you can have a long breakfast time. The people giving the service are so kind and they give you a big smile whenever they see you. Mr. KOSTAS is so helpful at the reception and he helped us when we arrived at the hotel. He was so ready to give an answer to our messages when we informed him of the hour to do the check-in. We would love to come there again for sure!

Lovely little hotel on the edge of Afytos. Walkable into the town in 10 minutes. We were a family with a 7 year old and I would say this hotel was more suited to couples and young people. The room above us arrived home at 6am one night and were very loud hence why for us we wouldn’t visit again and probably find something more family orientated. Otherwise it’s great for those looking for a boutique hotel in Afytos

The willingness, kindness and smile of owners and staff stand out. Beautiful spaces inside and out with night security. Modern and comfortable rooms. We stayed on the first floor and had a nice view and quiet. Despite the fact that it is in front of the street you can relax and rest. The breakfast buffet, while not particularly large, is complete, with fine items and something different every day. The ala carte food is also very good. Cocktails need an improvement☺️. Very important, they make sure it is free of annoying insects and mosquitoes. I realized the difference when I visited another hotel 400m away at the same time. It was unbearable. I will gladly come back again.
