Very successful stay in a place with a very large (and used!) potential. Great room, clean and spacious. Clean and sufficiently large swimming pool, with ~10 sunbeds, right next door. The residential part is separated from the public part with a restaurant with very tasty dishes and nice service. Prices in the restaurant, compared to other places, more than acceptable. Modest, but in my opinion sufficient breakfast included in the room price. The facility is located on a fairly busy street, but in my opinion you'll absolutely don't feel it. The beach in Nungwi is 8-10 minutes walk. I absolutely recommend :)

Really great place: clean and comfortable room, beatiful garden with a lot of plants and swimming pool, reasonably good WiFi, very good breakfast - you can choose between several options (fruits, eggs, sausages, jam and butter, pancakes, coffee or tea, fresh juices) or take them all :) short walk ~10 minutes to Nungwi beach. Host allowed us to check in earlier and even to check out later + we get a bonus breakfast. Disliked · Road to the beach isn't very nice (but it is safe at day or night) and you can pick a taxi if you wish. Sometimes late night noise coming from disco in the neighborhood.

Really pleasant place to stay. Lovely clean pool secluded with ample loungers. Nice rooms around the pool ….quiet. Food really nice and just a 12min walk to the beach. Staff so kind and helpful. Supermarket 5 min walk. We would stay again if ever we returned.

Highland Bungalows sind voll schön. Ich war in 2024 - Ende August bis Anfang September - mit meiner Tochter (15 Jahre alt) dort. Alles super schön und mega toll gewesen. Wir hatten den Deluxe-Bungalow gebucht. Die Gastgeberin (Britta) und ihr Mann, Albert, sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Da fühlt man sich wie zuhause. Das Essen im Restaurant ist super! Lokale (Suaheli) Gerichte sind sehr, sehr lecker. Die Preise sind sehr angemessen. Eigentlich zu niedrig, meiner Meinung nach. Auch "Europäische Gerichte" sind dort zu haben. Auch "mega" - meinte meine Tochter. Die Cocktails sind auch nicht nur sehr günstig, sondern auch mega-lecker. Immer frisch zubereitet. Zimmer-Service ist SUPER! Vielen lieben Dank für! Ich kann und möchte diese Unterkunft - "Highland Bungalows" in Nungwi - wärmstens empfehlen. Alles hat super gut gepasst. Vielen lieben Dank an Britta & Albert

We spent 6 nights at Highland Bungalow, and in our opinion, it was the best place we had in Sansibar.Reasons are the good food and cocktails to a moderate price, the cold water swimming pool,the nice room and, very important, the very friendly and helpful owner, Britta…. Sometimes, the music from the club in the neighbourhood was a little bit to loud, but that‘s Africa….

Hotel bardzo zadbany, ładny dobrze udekorowany. Basen duży, pokoje piękne codziennie sprzątane. Oraz bardzo miła właścicielka, pomocna, chętna do rozmowy, dodatkowo bardzo blisko do plaży. W hotelu jest restauracja, co piątek dyskoteka.
