Privacy and service at its best. Each couple has their own villa with a view of Indian Ocean and two private pools. The attention to detail in making your stay special is commendable. After one day the staff knows your name, what you like to drink and what you like to do. Your wish is granted without hesitation. The food is great. Today we had a floating breakfast at our own pool. Later we will take a Swahili cooking lesson. All included. This is the perfect place to relax after a safari the bush.

My wife and I have just spent six nights at the Kilindi. Throughout our stay, we were so well looked after, with all of the staff being so friendly and helpful, which more than made up for the one of two minor inconveniences when we were there (such as needing to wait for the tide to come in to enjoy swimming in the sea)

Kilindi Zanzibar is beautiful. The whole property is stunning, full of tropical flowers and amazing wildlife (Sykes' monkeys and greater galagos)! The villas are extravagant - our villa #15 was at the top far end of the property, incredibly private with a great view. Two (!) plunge pools, an air conditioned (!) bedroom with a mini fridge full of complimentary drinks, and an open air bathroom with a rain shower. The white washed architecture and design is beautiful throughout and the pool, paths, rooms, and spaces are kept absolutely pristine by the incredible team at Kilindi. I highly recommend a massage from Winifrida or Kathleen and a sunset dhow cruise (but note that you may need to wade out to the boat!). We also booked the spice and Stonetown tour and our great guide Abdullah was a lot of fun as well as extremely knowledgeable. Jacob was our terrific villa host who helped us book outings and ensure that our every need was met. The team at Kilindi works extremely long hours and we appreciated their efforts to provide an exceptional experience. The food was incredible and varied - everything was included from the welcome fresh coconut drink to the chips and guacamole that appear when you sit by the pool. You could choose from an a la carte menu or a multi course tasting menu and on our last night we were surprised by a spectacular seafood barbecue on the beach. We had an amazing stay!

Very Memorable
One of the best resorts I ever stayed in.
1- The service is incredible, the people here are amazing and it ia humbling how great the treatment is.
2- They went above and beyond to provide services that we requested even if not available.
3- The food is great and the experience is special
4- VERY SPECIAL RECOMMENDATION: DON'T MISS TASTE OF ZANZIBAR, amazing culinary experience.
5- The place is quite and relaxing with great views.

This was truly amazing experience, we would definitely come back. It exceeded all my expectations from the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the location and the service. The staff were friendly and warm heated that is sad to leave them. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend The hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. I’ll definitely be back. The only thing missing there was no snorkeling from the beach directly.

Fiquei hospedado com minha esposa no hotel no mes passado. Tenho por habito, ler os reviews de hospedes antes de reservar hoteis. Confesso que li alguns reviews que depreciavam bastante o hotel e fiquei um pouco inseguro, mas como estes eram uma minoria, resolvi confirmar a reserva.
A experiencia no hotel foi fantastica, desde o momento que chegamos. Fomos calorosamente recebidos pela equipe do hotel, inclusive Andre, o gerente, que eh muito gentil e solicito. Tudo no hotel nos surpreendeu positivamente. A piscina, o restaurante, a comida, tudo uma experiencia muito agradavel e deliciosa. Mas os pontos altos realmente sao a Vila e as pessoas. A vila eh grande e magnifica, uma estadia realmente muito unica e especial. Descansamos e aproveitamos muito a area externa da vila, o quarto eh otimo e o melhor eh o banheiro aberto. Inesquecivel. Por fim, devo falar das pessoas, todos os funcionarios sao muito bem treinados, estao sempre atentos e prontos para ajudar e atender todos os desejos dos hospedes. Sao todos muito especiais.
Definitivamente foi uma das melhores experiencias que ja tivemos em hoteis e recomendo fortemente.

We had the best time! We couldn't have chosen a better place to honeymoon, we were made to feel so welcome and it was such a special place to stay. Huge shout out to our host Julieth, she was so kind and patient with us and nothing was too much to ask. The experience wouldn't have been the same without her. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Zanzibar, if we could give more than 5 stars we would!

When talking about the greatness of Kilindi, we could talk about the amazing villa, the exquisite food, the privacy, the incredible private beach with turquoise water and plenty of activities to do, or the attention to detail. But what made our experience a 10 out of 10 was the excellent attention from our villa host Salum. Salum made sure that we were comfortable at every moment, that every detail was as expected and that we weren't missing a drink or snack for a second. He also took such good care of my wife's severe allergy to nuts, double checking every meal with the chef. He made us feel so welcome and taken care of and made the difference in this beautiful resort. Would 100% recommend.
