It’s been a week since we returned from Hotel Melia, and we already know we’ll definitely be coming back! It is the best place to relax and connect with nature. The hotel is perfect for those who want to escape to a place of pure relaxation. It is located right by the water. The hotel has many walking paths and areas for observing wildlife, such as: land turtles, donkeys, monkeys, and many others. Everyone can find their own spot, whether it’s by the pool with an ocean view or on the beach. The hotel offers 4 restaurants (one main one and 3 scattered throughout the hotel). The food was most delicious at the Jetty restaurant with a view of the ocean, but each restaurant offered great food. Everyone can find something to enjoy. I think the smallest selection was at breakfast, but as I mentioned, there is something for everyone :) From this trip, I remember two people who made me feel at home: the waitress Bahiti, who from day one showed warmth and kindness, always helpful and smiling, and a huge thanks to Prosper from Guest Experience. There wasn’t a day when he didn’t stop to chat with me and my partner. When we had issues with our room, he tried to resolve the problem and was always helpful, asking how he could assist. He is a person who did everything with passion and always had a smile on his face. The only issue I had was with the room we stayed in. At night, there was noise, making it impossible to sleep, and the decor was outdated with many things breaking down. From the very beginning, we struggled with night-time noise (unfortunately, we never figured out the cause). It sounded like construction work. After our second complaint, we were offered a room change, but by then it was the end of our stay, and we consciously decided not to move. Nevertheless, the hotel is worth recommending, and despite the shortcomings, the views and the people made us want to come back again :)
