The hotel is quiet, modern, clean and has very friendly staff, which does not leave the quiet, even if many travelers arrive at the same time and form a snake. The rooms are modern and friendly, the bar is open until midnight and breakfast is rich and delicious. The price of 115,-/night is reasonable (parking: +9,-) In fact there is nothing to make - only the defect plissee in my room that can no longer ensure visual protection is negative. That it has come out of fashion to install walls that also close and thus you have to flood the whole bathroom if you do not understand I never understand. Positives: The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. Check-in went smoothly and the staff was very professional and clear in how everything worked around the hotel. The breakfast was very nice as well! I had an early check-out which happened some hours after the refund was available, which really wasn’t an issue for me, so I was glad that the early check-out was possible regardless of refund was possible or not. During my fuss in my check-out, I had forgotten an item of clothing and had gone back the following day around midday to see if the clothing had been found. At the time it hadn’t been found and I gave my contact information in case they wanted to contact me in that regard. They did end up finding the item of clothing and were quick to let me know, so I could figure out when to get it. I know it’s all part of the profession, but I am really thankful that they were quick to inform me. Negatives: The hotel is fairly close to the train station, so there’s a lot of honking in the evening/night, which gave me some frights from time to time when I had gone to bed. Overall: I really enjoyed my stay regardless of the trains honking and the early check-out situation. The staff were very understanding and helpful!

Very nice hotel, super modern. Check-in took a long time, the line was already quite long before a second person finally came to the reception. Later in the evening we bought a bottle of water downstairs - 6 euros for 1 liter of still water, sorry, it's just too expensive - then took it to our room and discovered that there weren't even any glasses in the room. So in my opinion two glasses are part of the basic equipment and a bottle of water too.

Reise meine Frau unser Hund und ich. das Hotel liegt wie alle InterCity Hotels nahe Bahnhof Karlsruhe. Es ist eines der neuen Hotel der H-Rewards Gruppe. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr modern. Alles halt noch neu und modern. Bequeme Betten und sehr gutes Badezimmer. Viele haben geschrieben, die Lüftung Badezimmer sehr laut. Dies scheint man inzwischen in Griff bekommen zu haben. Auch gutes TV mit vielen Programmen. Frühstück habe ich als Goldmember Inklusive und für meine Frau einen Gutschein. Ist Gut, aber könnte besser sein. Da hat es mir im InterCity Dresden besser gefallen. Aber ich denke mehr wegen Personal mangel. Ich bin Gold Status Member. Wir sind angekommen und wurden etwas trocken empfangen, gleich mit dem Vermerk es geht noch nicht. Ja ist mir klar gewesen. Wollte nur meinen Koffer abgeben, und wir sind dann unseren Ausflug machen gegangen. Als wir um 17Uhr ins Hotel gekommen sind, wurden wir eingecheckt. Ich habe extra um late check out gebeten, was uns auch bestätigt wurde. Als wir in das Zimmer gekommen sind, mussten wir feststellen, dass: 1) Das Zimmer nur für eine Person eingerichtet wurde (Eine Bettdecke, ein Kopfkissen, ein Handtuch). 2) Goldmember kein Begrüßung goodies vorhanden. Sind schon enttäuscht gewesen. Habe dies an der Rezeption bemängelt. Ja wir haben dann alles nachbekommen, aber es ist sehr schade. Man hat mir gesagt, Personalmangel. Verstehe ich auf der einen Seite, aber wenn es die Stammkunden Gold oder auch die Platin Kunden zu spüren bekommen, ist dies echt nicht gut. Ich habe daher mal einen Punkt abgezogen. Aber man hat die Frust anderer Gäste an der Rezeption live noch mitbekommen. So hat sich ein anderer Gast beschwert. Vor allen die dastanden. Ich hätte diesen freundlich nach hinten gebeten und es geklärt. Wie gesagt. Modern und neu. Aber es ist Luft nach oben.

I was originally staying at another hotel for the duration of my holiday to visit some friends in Karlsruhe, but ended up getting the dates mixed and needed an extra night at a hotel. The price for the one night stay I had was really affordable, and it was not a long way from my friends. Even if the stay was only for one night, the hotel and the room itself was really nice! The staff was nice and helpful as well, which made my check-in and check-out very pleasant! The area was nice and quiet, and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel considering it was only for one night!

We come back after spend 2 nights in this hotel where no heater our room number is 309 corner room without heating ….. we arrive in good health and come back with fiver small child and his mom get fiver because of mistake this hotel and when we ask them they say it’s because of economy but on lobby area very good heating so economy just to make us sick wow 👍👍👍😠😠 we let room for cleaning but on cleaning way they do what just arrange your blanket nothing else even no coffee no water refill towel dirty they let for us ……..!! With booking Agoda it’s mark parking included but hotel staff not agree with this they charge us 48 euros for 2 night park your car which is not kind and they don’t care of what is written on your voucher they just looking way of them So finely it was very bad experience with Achat plaza hotel in Karlsruhe, Germany Never want to go back there and recommend to others please make clear before if there heater and one more thing Zero room service we call for tea because my wife get sick they say go down in restaurant to search we don’t have room service and in the restaurant 6 clients eating around of them 4 waiters Super hard work …… Very very upset Zero Service Achat hotel

The hotel is easy to access via public transport with a good location central to the things you want to see in Karlsruhe. I had a nice, quiet room overlooking the back courtyard and the bathroom was clean and modern. Complimentary breakfast and a very nice sauna!

I absolutely hate to give negative marks to anyone, but I feel that it is my responsibility to warn business travellers in particular about what seems to be going on at this hotel and, I am afraid, might well be going on across across the Novotel chain. I also want to alert their senior management who appear to have been deaf to comments passed to them by staff on the ground. I have used this hotel for almost 20 years for my occasional stays in Karlsruhe. It is clearly the first choice for business travellers to Karlsruhe: perfectly centrally located, superb transport connections, with all modern conveniences, very good and varied breakfast buffet, very helpful and unusually friendly staff and up until now well appointed rooms, But upon check-in this time, actually on a private visit, the staff seemed reluctant to let me have a room on the 4th floor, the first one to be completed in their current renovation process. I nevertheless chose a room there, had one look at it, and decided that it was a travesty for what is supposed to be a hotel for business travellers: No desk, no chair other than two huge reclining rocking chairs, no sockets other than a few German 220V outlets dotted about the room, one at a time, no USB charger points. In other words: not a place where one can do any work. Is a business traveller desperate to put a last touch on that PowerPoint for next morning going to balance a laptop on her lap while rocking in an easy chair just out of reach of the socket for the chargers? And, just to discourage the leisure traveller as well, they ripped out the bath tub and replaced it with a shower tray the same full size of a bathtub, and replaced the cupboard for your clothes with open hanging space only. My wife, for one, would not put up with spending a leisurely weekend staring at her dresses and coats. We are not of student-dig age anymore! The real insult is that all of these ”amenities” (necessities if you ask me) were and are still present in the un-renovated rooms on the lower floors, I was on a private trip, but still wanted to do some stuff, so I asked to change rooms, which was not a problem. But it would have been in the not too distant future. Accor Hotel management: PLEASE STOP AND THINK AGAIN, or this might not be the last review of this nature.

This is a old fashioned split level apartment. The bedroom is upstairs, accessible by a half staircase which may be difficult to manage for elderly people or those with limited mobility. Even for the sprightly care must be taken when descending in the night, eg to go to the bathroom. Otherwise the bedroom is nice, with a tv and a skylight. Downstairs the half-staircase ends in the little hallway with suitcase rack, a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower (old german style), and a small kitchenette with microwave and two hobs and refrigerator. The provided crockery and pots were clean and everything worked ok. The front room is a small sitting room with tv, two rather worn (with peeling plastic covers) chairs, and two tables. There was also a very small balcony with two plastic chairs. So everything was there, it was just a bit old fashioned and some things were a bit worn. Overall however it was clean and functional.

The location is very good, because not in the city but also not too far from the city. The cinema is also not far. Breakfast is sufficient and for everyone there. Rooms are beautiful and well equipped, but unfortunately there is no closet where you can eventually stack the bag. But is actually no problem, there is a clothes or something like clothes. The bathroom offers a furnace, hygiene bag, towels and shampoo with shower gel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are enough parking facilities next to the hotel and nearby.
