Very nice, well maintained hotel near the colonnade in Karlovy Vary.
Pros: large room, parking available in front of the hotel, great breakfast
Cons: staff who speak Czech poorly (Russian speaking), even though it is a spa hotel, we were not advised to go to the Spa because it was very crowded. If we want to go to the private spa, we have to pay an extra 100 euros! That is impossible! 🙈

The hotel location was clean and good, but the elevator was not working properly. They said there was a parking lot, but it was difficult because there was construction going on.

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Kurhotel. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal in allen Bereichen - von der Rezeption bis zum Spa. Der Wellnessbereich ist gepflegt und einladend, mit verschiedenen Saunen .Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen.Das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal ist qualifiziert und freundlich. Vielen Dank für lhren Einsatz und Ihre tolle Arbeit.

It is hard to find what is good in this hotel for so many things are mediocare or just bad. Starting with rooms: they are old, like really old and ran-down, the facade of the building and hotel website completely misguide you with its actual content. NO AC, avoid coming in hot months like July or August. Food is often served cold, and can run out in the first 30-60min, no refresh. Variaty is not 4*, some 3* hotels in the western EU serve larger variety. Service is in Russian only or in minimal English, no German or sometimes not even Czech. Try to raise a question about service or quality, half of staff "will not understand" or cannot discuss (even at reception). Sauna is small, two rooms but if there are 5-6 ppl it is full. No pool and no gym. Nice addition: every morning at 6 a.m. a trash truck comes, slams all containers and wakes you up. Also there is contruction going around, thus during the day there is no peace either. It is at most a b&b with a sauna. If you used to normal EU level of 4* hotels stay at another place, better chances of good experience and quality/money.

Gute Lage, fußläufig zum Zentrum.
Frühstück okay, aber nicht überragend, inklusive.
Parkplätze sehr begrenzt vorhanden, für unseren Familienbus jedoch zu klein. Wir parkten 1,5 km entfernt, was mit Koffern, Hund und Kind sehr unpraktisch ist.
Das Personal ist freundlich und spricht englisch.
Zimmerausstattung einfach, Doppelbett, Schreibtisch, kleiner leerer Kühlschrank, Kleiderschrank mit Minitresor. Einziger „Luxus“ = Haartrockner im Bad. 2 Gläser standen im (3-Bett) Zimmer zur Verfügung. Kein Mineralwasser, kein Tee, kein Wasserkocher, keine Kaffeemaschine. Getränkeautomat an der Rezeption. Zimmer wurde als „Superior“ bezeichnet, weil Aufbettung für Kind = einfaches Klappbett. Durch den Platzbedarf des Klappbetts war der Schreibtisch nicht nutzbar und die Tür zum Bad war zur Hälfte verstellt.
Laut brummende Relaisschaltung, sobald die Zimmerkarte gesteckt und der Strom eingeschaltet wird. Wir haben nachts die Karte herausgezogen, um schlafen zu können. Toilettengang findet dann im Dunkeln statt und das Handy lädt nicht.
Pluspunkt: Hunde willkommen, 10€ pro Nacht. Es gibt aber keine Futternäpfe und keinen Hundekorb.
Alle Zusatzleistungen berechnet das Hotel extra. Sehr schöne Sauna, Nutzung 15€ pro Person und Tag. Wartezeit auf Termin für Thai-Massage 3 Tage. Whirlpool kostenpflichtig (45€ für 20 Minuten), Nutzung war nicht möglich - es wäre vorher ein Arztgespräch nötig. Keine Sportmöglichkeiten, kein Fitnessbereich. Fazit: Schade, wir hatten etwas anderes erwartet.
