Great spacious Campground with clean outback amenities (showers and toilets). Restaurant very recommended, nice food in the outback. Friendly staff. Good place for tours in the Karijini national park. Potable water everywhere. Joffre Gorge in walking distance.

Man fährt durch das Outback und plötzlich ist man wieder in der Zivilisation und wird von freundlichen Frauen im Karijini Eco Retreat herzlich willkommen geheißen. Diese Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit begleiteten uns während unseres gesamten viertägigen Aufenthalts. Ich habe selten eine solch ungekünstelte Gastfreundlichkeit erlebt wie hier. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten ein Luxury Tent mit Klimaanlage gebucht; das war bei ca. 38 Grad im Schatten sehr angenehm bzw. fast zwingend, so extrem heiß wird es hier tagsüber zu dieser Jahreszeit, d.h. Ende Oktober. Bei dieser Zeltkategorie sind auch ein Full-Breakfast (große Portionen!) und eine gut bestückte Minibar ein Preis inbegriffen, die jeden Tag aufs Neue mit Wasser, Wein, Bier aufgefüllt wird. Es hat schon was, wenn man am Abend auf der Veranda einen Sauvignon trinken und die Sterne beobachten kann. Die Speisekarte am Abend ist relativ klein und von eher kräftigeren Speisen geprägt. Uns hat es immer gut geschmeckt. Besonders gut: Pork Belly und das Sirloin Steak! Das Retreat ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch der verschiedenen Schluchten des Nationalparks. Summarum war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt.

Excellent for a no power site! Are at the restaurant and it was Excellent! The barramundi was to die for as was the pavlova! Wonderful service for all staff! Sites were plenty big enough for our caravan and 4WD to fit in with room to put out the shade.

$400 for a eco-tent. Not even a tea bag, coffee, biscuit, or TV. No light on the deck except a wind-up torch, and just a pedestal fan. Shower depends on how much sun you get. 5:00AM everyone wakes you up because of tours starting early. Stay at the National Park instead. Absolutely do not recommend.

We had a fantastic time staying here! The staff at the restaurant were exceptional, making our experience truly enjoyable. The food was unmatched—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Nice campground, we walked to Joffre Falls and drove to Knox. Also drove to kalamina gorge, the road into there was very rough . There was a lot of campers there as it was school holidays, that led to queues for the toilets and showers. Just not enough there when it’s busy. I would stay here rather than Dales but.

Tout était très bien si ce n’est une absence de connexion et de wifi, et le ménage sous le lit est à faire( terre,gravier). Je trouve la prestation assez chère compte tenu des services. Je suis néanmoins satisfaite de mon séjour. À préciser que la ville la plus proche , Tom Price est à 1 heure de route!

Wir hatten einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt an einem außergewöhnlichen Ort, der unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen hat. Wir können das Retreat uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind für unsere Ausflüge sehr gut beraten worden. Das Zelt hatte war sehr komfortabel und sehr gut eingerichtet. Besonders gut hat uns das Outdoor-Badezimmer und das sehr bequeme Bett gefallen. Morgens konnten wir direkt vom Bett aus den Sonnenaufgang beobachten und dabei den Vögeln zuhören. Auch sehr zu empfehlen ist das hauseigene Restaurant. Wir hatten auf unserer Reise nirgends so ein gutes Steak bzw. so ein gutes Essen. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen und kommen sehr gern wieder sowie können das Retreat uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
