Gutes Hotel in alten Gemäuern
Tolles Hotel in altem Gemäuer. Einfache Zimmer sowie einfaches Frühstück, eben genau so wie man es von einem Kloster erwarten würde.

Clean and peaceful. Loved the history of this place, their orchard, pond, garden and pasture. So sad I did not get to try their cakes.

We hebben hier 3 nachten overnacht. Het doel was om in Zurich een hotel te boeken, maar dat was onbetaalbaar. Kloster Kappel was een prima alternatief. Mooi gelegen met uitzicht op het hooggebergte (we meenden de Jungfrau te kunnen zien), ligt dit klooster dat ruime kamers heeft met uitzicht op de bergen. Er heerst de serene rust die je van een klooster verwacht. Ontbijt is aan de eenvoudige kant. Als je ‘s avonds hier wilt eten moet je het de betreffende ochtend voor 9.30 melden, dat kan via de e-mail (we werden er na de boeking actief om gevraagd). Parkeren is gratis, wel even een klein eindje lopen. De trein naar Zurich hebben we vanaf Baar genomen. Een krappe 10 minuten rijden, en met de trein 20-30 minuten (sneltrein-stoptrein).
