My experience at the hotel was truly delightful. The service surpassed my expectations; the staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive throughout my stay. The facilities were not only well-maintained but also offered a range of amenities that contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable visit. This hotel has consistently been my favorite due to its exceptional service, well-equipped facilities, and delectable dining options. It continues to be my preferred choice whenever I am in need of a memorable and pleasant stay in Kaohsiung.

As my flight back home the next day was early in the morning, I stayed at this hotel which was within walking distance from the airport. As it was before check-in time (2-3 hours before), I asked if I could leave my luggage there, and the front desk was flexible and said I could check in if I waited about 20 more minutes! As it was hot outside and I was traveling for a concert, it was very helpful to be able to rest in my room early. The room was clean and very spacious, with a separate bathroom and toilet, so I was able to stay comfortably! I would like to stay here again on my next trip to Kaohsiung☺︎ Thank you so much for your kindness!

The shower was rusty and I used a shower filter that I took just in case. There are mosquitoes in the room and bathroom, so you need mosquito repellent. There are not many breakfasts and the taste is not that good. Overall, it seems to be a cost-effective accommodation for just sleeping.

The hotel could probably be considered modern 40 years ago... and the room was somewhat kaput (chain lock was broken) and not well-cleaned (lots of hair on the floor, bad smell from toilet bowl, moldy refrigerator...). But the double room I had was spacious and well furnished (wardrobe, tea table and chairs, desk, etc). So it could be considered an inexpensive Saturday alternative (most hotels in Taiwan double or even triple their rates on Saturday), or a little trip down Taiwan memory lane.

It took us 5 minutes from MTR station to the hotel. The room is large enough for us to open 2 large luggages at the same time. For me, there had many different TV channels to watch. As having a balcony, the view is very good. The breakfast provided is not bad as there are different types of food including local and western types. Moreover, the coffee is free for the whole day. The staff is nice and helpful.

The location is close to Kaohsiung Station and easy to find! There is a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, and there is also a 24-hour refrigerator and drinks in the lobby. The environment is peaceful! There is enough food for breakfast and the room is tidy! The rent is reasonably priced and you can walk to the nearby Jilin Street Night Market!

We had a great stay at CU Hotel Kaohsiung! Knowing it’s a ”self-service” hotel, we set our expectations accordingly, especially given the very affordable price. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station, making it super convenient for travelers. Check-in is self-service, and while I encountered some trouble with the touchscreen, a staff member was readily available via the phone and guided me through the process smoothly. Great service! The room was exceptionally spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. Even without windows, it didn’t feel dark or claustrophobic. The bathroom was a good size and even had a bathtub. Everything was very clean, and having a water dispenser on every floor was a nice touch. For this price point, it’s definitely a great value. I’d gladly stay here again!

It was a great experience. I forgot to ask the front desk if I could turn off the stereo last time (because it continued to play after turning off the lights, which affected my rest). I asked this time, and the front desk politely guided me on how to turn it off, so I had a good sleep. Cool! ! ! ! The sanitary facilities are very nice and the soundproofing is also very good. I didn't hear any noise from other tenants. The price here is quite cheap. It's great. But I forgot to take photos of the interior, so I’ll post a landscape photo to make everyone happy.

We stayed here overnight before going to Tainan the next day. It's located on a quiet street a few minutes' walk from the train station. From there, it's easy to walk to the main streets for normal shopping needs. The desk person was very friendly, spoke English, and later brought an extra blanket to our room when we called and asked for it. The room itself was spotless and everything worked properly. The bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower. I found the bed comfortable and slept well. We used the breakfast buffet the next morning, and found the room to be large, clean, and pleasant. The range of food was not spectacular, but this is not an expensive top-tier hotel. The food was perfectly adequate for a decent breakfast, and the staff continued to be friendly and helpful. There is also a small gym room which I did not get a chance to use. It's not a full-size gym, but there's enough equipment to have a pretty complete workout -- certainly good enough for someone who is traveling. If I am in Kaosiung again, I will definitely revisit this hotel.
