Hotels in Kaohsiung Railway Station Area, Kaohsiung

Most of the staff are nice and helpful. Great location with a snack bar and gym. Breakfast included. However, it needs to hugely upgrade its sound-proofing. The showers next door and upstairs were loud like those people were showering right on top of my head. The noise of their every putting up and resting the shower head was as clear and loud as if they are standing in front of me. I couldn’t fall asleep til everyone finished their showers after 2am. I lived on 2/F. I could hear the laundry on B1/F. If you work online where you needa keep your microphone on, no way. The busy scooters on the street would embarrass you. I tried to stay out of the windows but the showers next door was worse. It turned out that my online work was disturbed, leaving a bad impression to my colleagues and clients.

The location is very convenient — about 3 minutes from Houyi Station. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is quite standard, mostly traditional-style dishes. The hotpot restaurant at the hotel is pretty good.

There’s laundry facilities , 3 sets of washing machine and dryer on the 8th floor. But the dryer is somewhat small and outdated. you could ironing facilities if you wish to use. It’s convenient for travellers like us who don’t want to carry much for the trip. Breakfast options are catered towards local favourites, free coffee/tea and ice cream.

This is the last day of the trip in Taiwan, we chose the Airline Inn which is located across the train station. The location is superb! The way to the night markets are kind of straightforward from the hotel, you just need to turn right and follow the main road. The room is really small without a window, but as expected. In terms of price, it’s worth it especially for a night only.

The location is excellent. It's about a 3-4 minute walk to Meilidao MRT Station and within a 10-minute walk to Kaohsiung Main Station, which was incredibly convenient for me as I needed to take the train north. The famous Liuhe Night Market is right next door. While the facilities are a bit dated, the rooms are very spacious. If you're not overly particular, it's a great option for a few nights' stay. The breakfast spread is extensive, featuring both Chinese and Western options. Their chicken-broth ramen is a standout. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

We stayed at this hotel in March. While this review is in English, we communicated to them in Chinese. We also observed that they could converse with simple English with the international guests. Service - The hotel staff were friendly. We were greeted upon entering the door, and attended to immediately. The check-in process was fast. They also explained to us about the amenities - there is an enclosed area where we can chill, enjoy free drinks and ice cream. We were also entitled to one free drink from the par per day.  Even the housekeepers were friendly. There was an elderly housekeeper on Level 8 who greeted us and offered to guide us to our rooms - was impressed by this because I wasn't expecting this from any housekeeper from any hotel! The receptionist at the level 2 morning buffet hall was also very attentive. I was looking around for the toilet, when one of the staff saw me and asked me if I needed any help. Please keep this proactiveness up :) Food - The breakfast spread was huge and the food was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend. It has a mix of local ********* dishes and western food. I especially love the ********* food spread! (see photos for some of the food options, though i didnt take photo of everything). Room - The room was sufficient and clean. Housekeeping also does a great job at tidying the room. Location - Right next to Kaohsiung Main Station. I could walk directly to the hotel from the station - it seems like the renovation works that the earlier hotel reviews talked about has been resolved, so there is no longer a need to go to the hotel in a roundabout manner.  Super convenient. Other Amenities - They have washing machines, dryers, and even an ironing board! Powder detergent is provided too. This was something we really appreciated. Also, like what I earlier mentioned, they have a hall with the free-flow ice cream and drinks, which is a great place to chill and relax - especially at night after a long day of activities.  Overall, I will recommend Kindness hotel to those staying in Kaohsiung!

You must buy your toileteries here from the receptionist. The location is quite far from the main attraction but you can take metro with 10minutes walking distance to nearest station.

the service was good.. the food wasgood no problem because it has meals for kids.. my only concern was the parking area at the basement.. the driveway going in at the basement and going out it was too narrow and too slippery and steep.. our car was scratched.. thats the only problem we had..tne parking driveway..thank you..

Because of a change in travel plans, we had 3 bookings for 4 nights. At first we were verbally told that we could keep the same room as we had in the first booking for all 4 nights for a small extra charge. After 2 days we were told to change to a smaller room due to full booking. After a lot of back and forth we were upgraded to a deluxe room for the last 2 nights at no extra cost, which we really appreciate. We call this good service and can recommend the hotel to others. The rooms was just like the pictures.

First time in this hotel, didn't have chance to take the evening meal. Laundry service could improved by putting up clearer instruction on how to do spin drying as on the 25 Nov, there were a few of us spending more than 2 hours trying to get our clothes spin dry... I personally spent 3 hrs. Breakfast could provide more vegan friendly food.
