Kaohsiung Xinxing District Hotels

It's in a great location, less than a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Station's Formosa Boulevard Station. There's a cafe next to the first floor, so I think it's the perfect environment for a relaxing stay. The staff speaks English and will give you detailed information about the relaxation space and kitchen during your stay. The building isn't new, but the rooms are stylish and the shower water pressure is great. There is a free relaxation space in front of the room, and there are various magazines and books (including stylish Japanese magazines and books) where you can work on your computer. I stayed here for multiple nights, and was able to relax outside of my room after returning to the inn.

The public space is large, especially the table, which is very suitable for a group of friends to play board games. The service of the homestay is very good. I originally paid for an extra bed. As a result, my friend could not come temporarily, and the homestay was willing to refund again.

The location is superb, close to Liuhe Night Market, very convenient for tasting food or shopping. The interior decoration is exquisite, full of texture and careful details, making people feel at home. Highly recommended to friends traveling to Kaohsiung!

Great room. Very spacious and nice design. Only problem is soundproofing to the corridor. Fridge quite noisy, but I just unplugged it at night. Big bonus is the laundry facilities, which are free apart from NT 30 for detergent from reception. Dryers were slow, but can't complain as it was free. Lots of nice food places nearby, although the peanut place just round the corner always had massive queues so I never tried it even though it looked amazing. There's an food recommendation map in the lifts, so that's helpful.

Conveniently located near Formosa Boulevard MRT Station and Liuhe Night Market, you won't have to worry about going hungry. This B&B offers self-service check-in and check-out, so any issues can be quickly resolved. 😃 There are plenty of movies to watch on MOD. 👍🏻

The information provided online is a little misleading. There is no reception of “check in hours.” You are required to call a number or scan a QR to contact someone to receive check in information. This is a little inconvenient. Additionally, breakfast is provided but it is in the form of vouchers which need to be exchanged at a cafe 20 minute walk away. The check in information along with information on breakfast, WiFi, check out etc. Could have easily been provided via email or private message before arrival to make the process easier. The location however and room quality, cleanliness and amenities is first class and great value for money!

Business with heart, warm space, clean and tidy, I will want to come back downstairs, just the Rijiang business district, convenient 👍

The sparrow is small and complete. Convenient transportation and quiet environment. Breakfast is sufficient!

Location was very convenient, right next to 7 eleven, near to bus stop and central station. Asian breakfast and complementary drinks and ice cream round the clock though we didn’t try it. I really didn’t like the carpet as it feel dirty and worn out. Bathroom was great, Japanese bidet and powerful shower. Staff was courteous!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Comfortable Stay and Great Breakfast! I recently stayed at Hu House Hotel in Kaohsiung for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The location is super convenient—close to Liuhe Night Market and just a short walk from the MRT station, which made it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with comfortable beds and all the essentials provided. The staff were polite, helpful, and made check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. One of the highlights of the stay was the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of both Western and local ********* options, including fresh fruit, salads, hot dishes, pastries, and great coffee. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and it was a lovely way to start each morning. Overall, Hu House Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Kaohsiung. It’s comfortable, well-located, and offers excellent value—especially with the buffet breakfast included. I’d definitely stay here again!
