I happened to be attending a wedding and chose the newly opened Nikko Hotel nearby. From the moment I walked in, there were service staff to help me with my luggage. Each service staff was very polite and clearly informed me how many groups of guests I had to wait for when I was queuing to check in. I also observed many foreign tourists checking in, and the service staff were also very friendly in their reception!

So why was the cleanliness and service poor. Firstly as being a weekend the price was doubled. Checked in and found the room attendants cleaning cloth in the bathroom drawer. Ok this probably was a mistake so why did the carpet need another vacuum after finding multiple crumbs! Made a complaint to the reception staff and they resent the room staff to revacuum. No compensation was offered. I won't stay here again.
