Having stayed at this hotel for several years and praised it highly, I have to admit that I was a little disappointed this time. The place is old but that was not the problem, the bathroom was not cleaned properly and the towels were old and yellow and frayed which was disturbing. I still remember the hospitality of the front desk clerk a few years ago, and I can't help but feel sorry for this small hotel with a great location.

As soon as I entered, I saw tiny fruit flies flying around.
When I went into the bathroom, there were 20-30 flies flying around. I guess they were probably flies living in the sewer.
And when I took a shower, the drainage was barely working, so the water came up to my ankles.
The soundproofing was just so-so. I didn't try the breakfast because the reviews weren't that great.
The staff were generally friendly.
It's a 4-5 minute walk from Liuhe Night Market, but it's not close to Kaohsiung Station.

It's right in front of the Liuhe Night Market, so I went there every day during my stayㅋㅋㅋWhen you go to Liuhe, everyone eats this and that, but the Guo Bao Rou is really the best...I stayed for 3 nights, and they don't clean unless you request it. I didn't request it because it was more inconvenient to come and go during my stay, so I had a good time!
The room condition was average and a bit humid, but there were no bugs or anything~
If you're looking for a hotel with a good location and good value for money, I recommend it!
