Family-friendly Hotels in Kaohsiung

The location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

Howard Plaza Hotel exudes an aura of cleanliness and tranquility. Every corner is immaculate, reflecting their commitment to hygiene. The environment is serene and inviting, making guests feel at ease. The well-maintained surroundings speak volumes about their attention to detail. Truly, a haven of comfort and cleanliness. A commendable job indeed!

Great view, good location and next to a mall (e-sky mall) with supermarket and food court. Concierge and house keeping staff were the most helpful and friendly. They always had a smile, polite, and eager to help. The worst was executive lounge and front desk, borderline being rude. Their lounge (11/f) collected a birthday cake cutting fee (NT$500), even when we are hotel guest. Front desk reminded me several times of extra charge if late check out. The lobby cafe don’t know what is flat white and had no intention to find out what it is. I reckon their business is too good and don’t care about hospitality.

Checking in process was smooth. Parking was also available at a parking building in front of the hotel. Room were suitable enough for four adults(we travelled as a family of two adults and two kids). Generally clean, staff was great. Breakfast was decent. Drinking water dispensers available at every floor. The only downside is you need to do laundry before 10pm as it’s mentioned that the room will be closed. It is free though, so good job for that.

They gave us a free upgrade and overall it was a pleasant stay. I saw a dead cockroach in the bathroom sink as I walked into the room though..

Hotel was about 10mins away from the train station and nearby shopping district. Room was big and comfortable for a family of four. Service was great and hotel also provided complimentary beverages, food and snacks for tea break.

Stayed at H20 Hotel in May 2023. Truly nothing but praises for this hotel - the service was impeccable (a car AND butler service was sent to pick us up from the High speed rail station) and all the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Toilet and shower area was also separate so no flooding issues. Location was also perfect - it was walking distance to the Ruifeng Night Market which has a plethora of street food options. We ate there for three consecutive nights. There's also a sanrio themed convenience store right across from the hotel which made for easy late night snack purchases. Highly recommended

A choice with a high CP value. The location is not far from the Love River. This time I took a walk at night to take pictures of the ducklings. I also went to look for dinner nearby. When we checked in, we purchased breakfast for the next day at an additional price. This allowed us to sleep a little later and go downstairs to eat more conveniently during this trip. The price option was not bad. The room was clean and spacious. It was very comfortable for both of us. It is especially suitable for families with children because the children's playroom on the first floor is too big. It is simply a paradise. The kind that parents can't call back. Overall it's great. I will stay here again next time. I recommend it to everyone.

I loved my stay at the hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable with a great city view. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect to getting around on the MRT. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Highly recommend!
