Banging place to stay, clean, modern, cheap, perfect location, 2 mins to river and everything on your doorstep. Another one I can’t fault. Absolute perfect location. Smart TVs which is a bonus.

We stayed in Kampot as the last leg in a month long journey through Cambodia. This was hands down the best value for money we found! The breakfast is fabulous (didn’t eat again until dinner), the location is excellent and the room was huge and very clean. But our best experience in this hotel was with the staff, particularly Kosal. Kosal’s love for his job is evident in every interaction. Please just ask him for anything you need or want to know- he is so happy to help. We enquired about visiting a local school to donate supplies and Kosal not only recommended such a wonderful school but also took us there personally in his very precious time off and introduced us to his family. We highly recommend!!

I stayed at this hotel for several days in November. I was impressed with the room which was really big and had two queen beds in it. The bathroom was large too. Everything was pretty new. I was told the hotel first opened in 2020 but shut down thereafter due to Covid. It reopened around the middle of 2022. It has a fairly big lobby where a breakfast buffet is served in the morning.. it also has a coffee bar off in one corner which is where you want to get your coffee. They charge for it but we’re talking $1.50 for most espresso drinks. Coffee offered in the buffet is the Nescafé type. Skip that stuff. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are very willing to help you with transportation, tours, etc. The location of the hotel is ideal and is situated very close to the durian roundabout. You can pretty much walk anywhere you need to go in town. At night, it’s lit up and is easily spotted as the building has six stories. There aren’t many that tall in kampot. Internet is quite good which surprised me. Only negative about the place is the room safe. It’s not bolted down and could easily be carried off. But overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay there again if in Kampot

We stayed here for two nights on a tour. Room was large with a room with a balcony that overlooked the town and you could see the river around the corner too. The bathroom was nice, large walk in shower with good water pressure. Room was clean, no sign of mosquitos or any other bugs. Toiletries to use. There was a breakfast buffet with eastern food and another breakfast room on the ground floor where you could choose off a ticket menu thing (you get the yellow tickets from reception I think), we had pancakes and honey which were nice. There is also a mini market on the same floor which has toiletries, snacks and water. Reception were helpful in getting us extra toilet rolls etc. There are two lifts which work fine. Location is good too and a short walk to markets, restaurants and the river. Would stay here again.

Premises was well presented, some plumbing issues with bathroom, leaking sink,leaking shower but over all was a good relaxing time .

Fabulous boutique hotel, right in the heart of Kampot. Lovely heritage architecture with clean and comfy rooms. Very close to the river, bars and restaurants. The breakfast is really good as is the coffee. Kim and Tavi couldn't be more helpful, lovely people. Can't recommend this place more highly.

Very decent hotel, I paid a little more because it was the Sea Festival, but in normal times this hotel seems like a good deal. Large room with windows, air conditioning is decent and there is a kettle for coffee. No fridge though. Excellent value for money.

J Break Boutique has 20 rooms and is a 10–15-minute walk to Riverside and close to restaurants. The neo-classical lobby with a high ceiling has ample seating. Check-in was efficient. This 3-story hotel doesn't have an elevator so it might not be suitable for mobile challenged guests. The rooms are a good size with a high ceiling and a balcony. Even though the room has a TV, there is no cable so basically, it's useless. The room was clean with a comfortable Queen bed and there were sockets near the bed. The bathroom only had a shower, and the sink was outside the bathroom. The air conditioner and the free internet worked well. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs. There isn't a safe in the room, but you can use the one in the lobby. Breakfast is served in the lobby. It is a set menu with eggs or crepes with coffee and fruit. This made-to-order breakfast is simple. The hotel has a pool which I didn't use. It also has a restaurant, and their fruit smoothies are good. You can book tours but the one I took was just average. Peppercorn Tuk Tuk Kamot was a lot better. There is also a Lucky Supermarket minutes from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, but their English can be hit or miss. Overall, J Break Boutique Hotel is a solid choice for your stay in Kampot. The rooms are clean and comfortable and within walking distance to Riverside.

This hotel was opened by a young guy and his English is great! People are also very patient. We chartered to Forest Park and Westport. They all helped him to contact him. I must give him a compliment! Let's talk about the hotel, this price has given me a surprise, our room is on the top floor, the room facilities are general, but very clean! I have set a total of two rooms, but the two rooms are not the same size, the one inside is very good, the other is generally the same. Because it is the top floor, there is a big terrace, and it is really beautiful to enjoy the sunrise and sunset here. The location of the hotel is not far from the river, and it takes about three or four minutes to walk. It is also very close to the Jackfruit Square, and it is almost five minutes to walk. It is very convenient. It is very quiet because it is not on the main road. My room is for breakfast. If you want to eat, you will pay $2.50 per person.
